Truist Reviews

ghazi samet1I guess it is not a coincidence that this bank has a lots of bad reviews . I came in at exactly 9:15 now it is 9:43 I did nit get to the window to get served , I still have three people ahead of me . I don’t know if they think that peoples time is not valuable enough to hire more people or to schedule more help . Any way I think this bank doesn’t deserve customers . This is only an opinion I am passing to others .

Dawn Estes1I had a banking acct with BB&T and was able to sign in just fine online. Banking there was a cinch. Now that they are Truist, I cannot get signed in online, cannot reach anyone on the local line, and calling the 800 number is painful to even try to get a person. I went in person with my issue, they texted me a password reset code, I went home, tried it and it does not work. Still cannot get anyone to pick up at several locations or the 800 number. This system is trash.

Sue Jennings1I've been a customer of SunTrust for 33 years and always had good customer service. My experiences with Truist haven't been good. From the new online banking down to just answering a phone call is bad. Almost of off my banking has been moved to PNC. PNC's customer service is great!

Kate Foster1Don’t bank here unless you live nearby and can come in for all your banking needs. They don’t have enough staff to answer phones or respond to emails (even just to say Hi we will have the info you’re requesting as soon as we’re able).

Branden Smith1The worst bank you could possibly have a bank account at. I have a business and a personal checking and savings. COUNTLESS TIMES my accounts have been frozen for “unusual transaction” the facts are. There are no unusual transactions. I am investing in my future but banks do not want that. They want you and I to work until the day we die lining the pockets of board members, who they serve. Banks are freezing accounts when you take your money out of the institutions. Why? Because banks can lend your money to other people earning interest on your money you have worked for while you get nothing in return. I will be closing my account. Remember the banks need us even more so then we need them. P2P. Cut out the middle man. If you know you know.

Tim G1Terrible service and rude tellers. They keep the doors locked and tell you to call but but no one answers the phone. So after 20 minutes of standing outside I finally get in and try to make an emergency wire only to be told that tellers can't do them and I have to wait another hour for someone to come do it for me. I have been with SunTrust for almost 30 years and have never seen such horrible service. My accounts and I will be leaving for a new bank shortly.

Jennifer Lynn4I have been at the banks for years and no issues but I am leaving 4stars cause the drive though is very slow so I think they need to hire more people. Every time I am the drive though it takes a very long time.

Bob Avery1Went there to set up an account for my elderly mother, the customer service and manager are so inadequate I had to close her account. If you only doing online banking might be ok other than the hidden fees.
