  This bank voided a check then told my client they could not cash it because they closed his account and never told him and would not let him open a new account. THEY VOIDED the check that my cliented needed for rent and rendered the check unable to be cashed and did not care they had left him with no money. JUST HEARTLESS. Refused to fix their error. Poor customer service, do not care about people, just hustling for the money. Three other banks in area to choose from, I would recommend one of the other ones.

  Don’t come to this location. The branch manager ms big shot had different check policies then other locations. Tried to cash the same type of check after 2 days she couldn’t do it due to policy. The same policy the other location had? Maybe she was jealous of the amount not sure. Bank somewhere else just not here or Bank of America 😂

  I have been a customer for over 25 years at Sun Trust Bank on Oleander Drive, in Wilmington, N.C. And have always received professional and courteous service from every employee with whom I have dealt. I think the range of services it offers is complete and they exercise great patience in explaining them and answering any questions I have had.   Went to the bank, which I thought was in the business to handle money, to deposit cash into a checking account for my father who has Suntrust account. The bank would not take my cash to deposit because I was not on the account. I was not asking for any personal information or to withdraw anything. I had my fathers account information given to me by him. Was told I had to go pay for a cashiers check or money order. What ignorant banking executive started this policy? A bank that will not accept cash....take your cash and run from Suntrust. This was also after I withdrew money from their ATM and was hit with a $3.50 transaction fee. Thank god for State Employees Credit Union is all I can say.

  The customer service in the branch is terrible. Only one banker on staff and he is the only one with key to lock boxes. Sit around and wait until he is free. An absolute joke that only one person has key to the lockboxes. Invest in the branch or shut it down. Pathetic.

  Suntrust bank in itself is a terrible cooperation. After speaking with multiple customer service representatives in store and online my issue was not resolved. I bank with Bank of America and have had no issues due to their amazing customer service. I will be closing my account and I advise no one open an account with them. I am a student and have had over $100 wrongfully taken from my account.

  Went in to cash a check for a hundred dollars on a Suntrust business account. Would not cash it without a $7.00 fee. What a rip off.

  These guys are cool. They don't probe me with questions as much as other banks which I like.
