  Most important: The loan was ready for closing several days ahead of time, funds were wired and in place--no last minute rushing, no internet lender from California whose time (and time frame!) is different than east coast. It was stress-free for all! Tom definitely made my client feel at ease, communicated regularly, and sent videos detailing each step of the process.

  I have never felt so belittled and harrased as I was while going thru the buying process for my new property. Several documents would be requested to be signed by one member on the team at First Heritage for another member to ask for the exact same document. I would tell them that my spouse and I had sent and signed that document and they would say "oh well just sign and send it again". I was even signing and sending documents late in the evening. I did not understand why I had to pay my house insurance policy a year in advance. When I asked why I was told pay it before closing or you will pay at closing.. When I got yo closing they had to refund me money because they over charged me. I did not understand why I had to bring a bank check for my closing costs two days before closing.. It was never explained completely to us. We were mentally and physically exhausted by the time we went yo closing. We felt under appreciated and we don't wish this experience on anyone. We understand Covid changed how we do business but how we were treated is unacceptable and down right mean. Also my Statefarm agent felt harnessed by an incident that was their fault. This company showed very little compassion or sensitivity toward people who were sharing their most personal info with strangers.

  My experience has always been the greatest. I give all my loans to Tom Wessel. He is the best. He's honest, sincere and trustworthy. I have seen a lot of loan officers in all my years in real estate. No one compares to Tom. He gets the job done!!!

  Tom Wessel and his entire team were excellent. When I purchase my next house I will be using his team again. The communication was excellent. I could call/text/ or email them at any time and they ALWAYS replied back in a timely manner. Even if I emailed late at night I would get a response from them at six the next morning. They made my home buying process very smooth even during these crazy times of COVID. Tom, Chris, Cindy, and Sabrina, I would like to say Thank You again for all of your assistance with my home buying process. I look forward to working with you guys in the future. Tamara

  Best experience ever and this is after buying and selling six houses. From day one, Tom was the ultimate professional; he outline the process we would go through with First Heritage, procedures, on-line reporting, records we would have to provide.   ***TO ALL FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS AND THEREAFTER*** I personally would use First Heritage if I was purchasing a house again. They gave a great interest rate, were incredibly easy to work with and professional. From the beginning of the processes to closing, everything was done smoothly with all questions answered to the fullest. I could not recommend a mortgage company more!
