  Our experience using First Heritage Mortgage as our lender for our house purchase was excellent. We worked with Chris Grant and cannot praise him enough. He was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He was very patient with us and answered all of our "first-time-home-buyer" questions. I would definitely recommend both First Heritage Mortgage and Chris to others!

  As first time homebuyers, my wife and I were looking for a loan officer who could help guide us through all aspects of the homebuying process and we couldn't have found anyone better than Chris Grant at First Heritage. One of the most important things for us was the responsiveness of our loan officer and Chris was always able to respond in a short period of time whether it was running loan scenarios or helping our real estate agent with the items needed for our offer. Chris also never over explained topics so that we were confused and he did a great job of listening to our questions and concerns. If I had to do it all over again, there's no one I would rather work with than Chris Grant and First Heritage.

  One star because I cannot give 0. We bought a house a few months ago we did the whole progress thru this company when it was time to sign all the papers we end up buying a few points so our payment would be lower. Everything was perfect until today. This company sold our mortgage to another company and we just received a letter stating that we have an escrow shortage, after reviewing our closing papers I noticed that what they put in our estimated escrow was way lower than what it was suppose to be to cover the real value of all expenses. I guess this “honest” “innocent” mistake was to make this deal look better than what It really was… go somewhere else. Our monthly increase $700 for the next month because of this

  I worked with Chris at First Heritage to purchase my first home and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Chris is a true professional, very customer focused and incredibly responsive. An absolute pleasure to do business with! I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a mortgage. As an added bonus, First Heritage's rates were better than other rates I was offered from bigger named companies.

  It was a pleasure working with Chris Grant at First Heritage. We needed to close on a mortgage from out-of-state and he was extremely responsive and met all of our needs, I would highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable about all of the different financing options/paths which are available (unique to our situation) and gave us a lot of room to choose what worked best for us.

  We HIGHLY recommend Mike Carney! We recently bought our 3rd home using Mike as our banker. He is a Senior Loan Officer with First Heritage Mortgage and is excellent at what he does. He is highly experienced and knowledgeable and we received the best rates available. We were first introduced to him by our realtor a decade ago. He was always readily available to answer any questions we may have had and promptly replied to phone calls, texts or emails.   Tim Romp and the whole First Heritage were great to work with. They kept in regular contact, they were very responsive to any questions I had, and they were patient. My purchasing transaction took over six months--no fault of theirs. they stuck through it with me, and once it was time for final settlement, they didn't require me to re-do or to pay a second time for many of the documents and activities I handled way back when I expected settlement to be a few weeks after the contract, and not six months. I've used Tim on at least half a dozen finance and refinance transactions, now--probably more. Many of my friends have used him, too. Very pleased!
