As a member of the United States Military, I appreciate how efficiently they handled every detail of the lending process with integrity! They communicated each step clearly and answered any question I had honestly. I could not have done this without them! I will absolutely use Guild Mortgage for any future home purchases!   The Guild Mortgage team is experienced and well versed. I started off with another company. I got alot excuses and seems like they just wanted to waste everyone's time. I found out about Tim he was fast and very knowledable about the home loan process and was able to get me a loan in about half the time I spent going through the motions with those other guys. He also got me a better interest rate. I haven't been to alot of mortgage companies but if I had to guess I would say Tim and his team at Guild Mortage are probably among the best in Memphis.

  I had the most wonderful experience working with Guild. Everyone was so quick to respond to my needs and answer questions on the whim. I was able to start my process and close on my new home is approximately 30 days. My agent Terry Baker Was a pleasure to work with. I always felt confident in anything he told me and Have referred family and friends to use Gulld. Thank you for helping me getting into my new home.

  I started my mortgage application in June 2019 because I attended an open house and was recommended to Guild by a realtor that was showing the home at the time. I applied after receiving an email and was completely upfront and honest being a little credit challenged. Overall although I was denied by the automated system I was approved through manual underwriting after begging for updates for 60 days after submitting all paperwork in a timely manner. . The whole process was so frustrating due to very random borrower updates that I finally decided to pull out the process after not being offered enough in financing. I appreciate the shot I did receive from Guild but I just felt the whole process was all so not worth it with the ending results. I couldn't see myself paying for a home that I wouldn't be happy with just to get a mortgage with likely a high intrest rate done. So my wife and I decided to wait and go with someone that's promised to keep us updated. I believe had MY CREDIT SCORE been much higher then a loan would've been done the 1rst 30 days instead of maybe 6mnths later. It was the worst experience. However, We will definitely hit the 360-400k range next July though my wife's Mortgage Company of 10 years. Along with a huge down payment if necessary. Hopefully good credit scores will save us the 6mnths while I reestablish. As for Guild Mortgage,Never again.

  This was my first time buying a home and really didn’t know what to expect. Tim Smith and his staff at Guild Mortgage Co. did an excellent job. Everyone on the staff was great at communicating information in a timely manner and I was able to close on my home with no delays.

  My experience was a little stressful starting out but Tim and his staff explained the upcoming process and worked so very patiently with me! It seemed like a long process however, it was worth it! My expectations were meet and I’m a proud homeowner of a brand new construction!
