  I had a great experience with the Penland Team as I was buying my first home. From pre-approval to close, they were thorough, helpful and professional. Having a pre-approval letter from them even helped our offer to be accepted. Although it was the busy season, I could always count on them to get back to me quickly if I had questions. They walked me through the entire process and made it seem much less daunting. We did a 30 day close with no issues. I highly recommend and would use them again.

  Amazing team to work with! Josh was by far the best. He even helped us when we were initially going with another lender due to restrictions. He explained everything to us thoroughly and made sure we felt we were making the right decision. He made us feel very comfortable throughout the process, as well as after we closed on our new house. He has followed up with us multiple times. Truly the very best experience and I would highly recommend!

  Josh Penland and his team (Pat Odom, Perla Morales, Allison Germann) are top notch. The realtor representing me and my husband (Jéan Bruns at Realty Austin) recommended them, and my husband had previous experience with Penland. My husband even said their processes have improved since the last time he bought a house - they have a system of updating a homebuyer every week about where we are in the loan process, and they’re very good about communicating promptly. When they make even the slightest mistake, they own up to it and fix it right away. Josh attended our closing and was very attentive to every question I asked, even offering me advice with an outside issue. This team made the home buying process less stressful, which is the biggest compliment I can give for such a stressful time. My husband and I could not recommend more highly the well-oiled machine that is Penland - Legacy Mutual. We are now happily situated in our new home thanks to this team!
