  Just the best mortgage experience we've ever had. Emily and her team are wonderful! Everything went extremely smooth and effortless. We were selling in WA and buying in AZ and there were a lot of moving parts but everything fell in place perfectly thanks to The Howard Team at Fairway Mortgage!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily and Walter. We were just “sort of” looking at homes in AZ when we fell in love with one we saw listed online. Almost all of the planets were aligned for us except we didn’t have the pre approval letter needed to present with our offer. Our wonderful agent recommended Emily and Walter, what a blessing that was. Despite being a weekend Emily went above and beyond to get us pre approved so that we were able to present a more attractive offer. Front start to finish Emily and Walter made the experience smooth and stress free. They really are the Dream Team and we can’t thank them enough!!

  The Howard Team was fast, friendly and seemed to know I needed them before I did. They helped me first buy my house, then refinance when I needed the equity. Our loans were completed ahead of schedule and went off without any issues. They are a wonderful team and I would recommend them to everyone.

  If we could give these guys 10 stars we would! We had an awesome experience working with The Howard Team @ Fairway. Every single person on the team responded in a timely manner and provided us with the answers that we needed. We appreciated how detailed Walter was. He made sure we understood everything, provided us with different options and helped us close on our home in just a few weeks. He even returned our calls after hours. We also did everything over phone and email which helped a lot since our work schedule is hectic. They even sent us a beautiful house warming gift afterwards. We couldn’t have gotten our first home without you all. Thank you for your hard work!

  Walter and Emily are an amazing team. We immediately felt comfortable with Walter after our first call with him. Both he and Emily were highly communicative; they answered our calls and texts on evenings, weekends, and even once while they were on their way back from their vacation! They kept us in the loop every step of the way. I also felt like they were always "on our side" -- they really wanted us to find a new home, and they were willing to do anything they could to get us there. Every time we put in an offer (and in this market, there were many times...) they immediately called the listing agent to talk us up. They had worked with our agent many times before, and because of that they worked together like a well-oiled machine. It was like we had the Avengers of real estate on our side. We would absolutely work with Emily and Walter again!

  We worked with the Howard team for 6 months while we looked for the perfect home being picky and outbid. They were easy to work with, communicative, always available, very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Having a reputable lender that was able to drop everything to get the necessary paperwork ready quickly to be the first offer on the table made all the difference in getting our offer accepted. Plus they helped us close early when we had to be out of our place within a day of each other which was a complete lifesaver.

  Full disclosure, this is our first mortgage so we have no comparison, but that being said, I don’t think we would ever work with anyone else! Walter, Emily, and team were available night and day to go over numbers for every offer we wrote (it’s a tough market in Seattle, so we wrote many), wrote us preapproval letters customized for each offer (to avoid counteroffers), and even called all of the sellers we made offers with just to tell them how sure they were that the loan would close. We had to wait a week just to talk to someone at Bank of America. Fairway did a great job organizing and walking us through the closing, and now we are happy homeowners! I have no suggestions for improvement. They were awesome!

  We could not have had a more professional experience with the refinancing of our mortgage. Our new loan was processed quickly and all aspects of the experience were transparent and easy to understand. Any questions we had were answered in a timely fashion. There were no surprises.   Walter and his team made my first time home buying experience stress free and I cannot recommend them enough.
