seth schumacher1Had to provide a ridiculous amount of personal information, were repeatedly dismissed when asking questions and generally treated as a nuisance throughout the entire process. Backed out at the end due to all these difficulties, our loan processor then sent us to her boss, who sent us to her boss, who pretended to try to get us to stay. In reality he just wanted somebody to take his day out on since he then screamed at and attempted to belittle my wife and I both for several minutes before I hung up.
Response from the ownerHi Seth. Unfortunately the description of events as you described are just simply put - not truthful. When applying for a mortgage there are general amounts of information that are required. These come directly from the program guidelines and have nothing to do with the lender directly. I (Meagan) went above and beyond in service, even answered many calls and texts from both you and your wife outside business hours. This included taking a call at 8:30 pm to provide answers to questions you felt were needed right then. Multiple times you used profane language to address myself and employees. In the most recent of these events, I very calmly told you that this is a professional transaction and we do expect all parties to behave in a professional way. I stated that once you were able to speak in a way that did not contain a raised voice or profane language, we could absolutely move forward. You then proceeded to spew more profanity at me and hung up. Then you called and spoke with Lindsey, who directed you to Bo. Bo told you he would be happy to move forward with you but that both he and myself hold the same standard for transactions. He stated that he also would not allow any profanity or raised voices during this professional transaction and that moving forward the tone would need to be different. Your reaction to this was to spew a host of profanities towards him as well saying that you would "do whatever you want" and then proceeded to hang up. We gladly and proudly serve all customers with professionalism. However we do have standards of treatment of all of our office personnel. You were unable to behave in a way that adhered to that very basic standard of treatment, and when asked to do so, refused. We do not allow verbal abuse from anyone and will not apologize for this standard. Aggression and profanity have no place in a professional setting. We will continue to require all clients to behave in the same way as you were asked to.
