  As a first-time home buyer, Russell held my hand through the whole process. In what can oftentimes be an overwhelming process, he made all aspects of purchasing a home easy to understand and made the process fun! He responded to every question and concern I had. I have now been in my home for over a year. Russell fought to secure an interest rate that I know I am lucky to have. I will absolutely use Russell again for any home buying in the future! I highly recommend him.

  Finding a mortgage company to finance a tiny home was not an easy task. Russell Barnett at Texan Mortgage was extremely helpful and resourceful in helping us finance our tiny home away from home. Russell worked well beyond what one could expect. He provided suggestions for appraisers, surveyors, and septic companies. He attended closing to ensure all paperwork was complete and in order. Most important to us, Russell stayed in touch constantly and was always available to answer our questions. He was reliable and professional yet personal throughout the whole process. It is clear that he cares about his clients. I highly recommend Texan Mortgage and Russell Barnett without any reservations.

  Wow what a great experience I had with Russell Barnett at Texan Mortgage! Russell bent over backwards to make this refinance go as smoothly as possible. After trying several other Mortgage companies and getting nowhere because they didn't want to do the work this was definitely not the case with Russell he actually took the time to get the deal done!   Best mortgage experience ever! Russell Barnett worked tirelessly to get us to closing, and had to overcome some big obstacles to do it. He went way above and beyond when he got in his car, and drove an hour and a half with our closing papers on a Friday, so we could close that day. He was always straightforward and honest about everything we needed to do and what the process would be from start to finish. I cannot recommend him enough. He made the cumbersome mortgage process easy and almost painless, lol. Just loved working with him!

  When the interest rates went down, my wife and I were looking to refinance our mortgage. Our friend told us about Mr. Russell Barnett.   Russell over at Texan Mortgage is the most knowledgeable and professional Loan Officer I have ever worked with in regard to the mortgage process. I originally took my 1st loan out with one of the big box lenders and was relatively pleased with the process until Russell showed me how easy the mortgage process can actually be. He closed my loan in less than 3 weeks with little to no work on my part. If you are looking to purchase a new home or refinance your current loan I would 100% recommend working with Russell at Texan Mortgage!

  I worked with Texan Mortgage as a first time home buyer and it was a fantastic experience. He was extremely knowledgable, patient, provided the best rates, and easy to get ahold of. He was happy to take answer my many many questions and breakdown every aspect of the process throughout the entire time and was very quick to get quotes and information to me.
