  Max, the owner, is very fair and easy to deal with. He spent time negotiating prices with me and allowing me to look up prices online. He also offered to hold the items I wanted until I was able to purchase them. After I purchased these items, he even helped me load them into my car. The excellent service and reasonable prices far outshine the chain pawn shops.

  Owner is very friendly and helpful, same goes for staff plus they are the only pawn shop open on a Sunday. A++++++

  I walked in and didn't really know what to expect as it was my first time having to pawn something. All the reviews said this was the place to go to. I wasn't disappointed. The man will help you out if he can. Also the rest of the staff was very courteous and in no way condescending upon arrival or departure. I had to leave my guitar and the man offered to let me come and play it anytime until I got it back. I believe that says it all. Thankyou Max, you really helped me out!

  I have gone through Max at Cash & Gold on and off for the last few years. Pretty much every single time I've dealt with him or one of his associates I've walked away feeling like I was treated with respect and not taken for a ride. Understand that it is a business and that to stay open they need to be profitable so go in with the expectation that they will give you a value for your item that might be lower than you expected but it's because they have to turn around and sell it to make any money off of it -- otherwise, what's the point? They've definitely helped me in a pinch and once I was late on my extension payment and Max was in his rights to seize the item but allowed me to make a late payment to extend the pawn on my item; this is something he didn't have to do. Overall it's a good place and I'd recommend it.

  Took some scrap gold here. Max (the owner) was there and offered me more for my scrap than my local pawnshop would. I liked Max and his shop and will be returning next week.

  Very fair price for both pawning and selling, always willing to look up price to compare and helping out when needed. Good hours with great customer service. They will not screw you and are easily one of the better pawn shops in town that won’t low ball you!

  First time customer, Mr. Max was very nice unlike other pawnshops and I feel as if I got a fair price on the items I sold. This will be my first stop when I am looking for a pawn shop. I will definitely be back soon!

  I was impressed with the customer service and was given a fair price for my items. I had gotten another quote from another pawn shop in town and they gave me a much lower bid. I would recommend Cash and Gold to everyone!

  I'm not allowed to go in by myself, my wife says I always come out with something lol. Max is always great to deal with and always fair on pricing. We always go to other places first then go see Max to do our actual buying. Have always left satisfied 👍
