TD Bank Reviews

Michael Kelly1Absolutely horrible customer service for very simple banking transactions! I don’t have any loans or need to borrow money. A simple withdrawal from one of my accounts that has more than ample funds is a challenge. Vanessa is rude and condescending! Zero stars is more appropriate!

Beau Brown1A service fee of $15 was applied to my account every month during the pandemic. I left a negative review in a survey so the manager at this location reached out to me. She was "sorry for how I felt" but it was my fault that they were taking my money and I wasn't letting them know that I was in a financial hardship due to the worldwide pandemic. People who kept their jobs during the pandemic were lucky but if you had limited income and were a TD customer you were double screwed. She offered no resolution and repeatedly let me know that I had to maintain the minimum balance to avoid those service fees. Thanks for nothing

Alicia Perez1If I could give 0 stars I would, the manager and one of the tellers with blonde hair and glasses was very rude to me. I was trying to pay off an account that I owe money to and she denied me 2 days in a row just because I had a out of state license and a different address on my check I was trying to deposit. She asked me why did I move so many times and that definitely was not her business. Poor service and Augusta TD bank is horrible!!

Donald Searles5I am a small business owner in Augusta, Maine. Have been doing my business checking with TD Bank on Western Avenue for several years now. Very friendly staff all the way around. Their ATM machines at all of their locations have deposit capabilities both in the form of cash and checks. That is what keeps my business running smoothly. If any small business owner is looking for a great institution to bank with, go see Vanessa or Chris at TD Bank in Augusta, Me. Very good people.

diz bob1$10fee to cash thier $30 check. They're ridiculous with their fees and the way they run the bank. I will be getting a account at a credit union. Never go here. Consumer beware.

Vince Altavilla2The customer service at this branch is definitely lacking... Will be trying Waterville from now on.

Jake Michaud1Worst financial institution ever if you are a non member. And of course you could always become a member but anybody you do business will be forced to deal with their unfriendly and greedy policies. $7 to cash a check drawn off from them and you better bring in a hair and DNA sample along with every form of ID known to man.

Matthew Campbell (Mattn3w)1The manager at this bank doesn't care about anything but profit. He will smile as he screws you over. If anything bad ever happens to you or you make a mistake, don't expect an ounce of customer service from this place. I was a long standing customer with minimal account balance mistakes, over drafted my account one weekend without realizing it (bank account balance on mobile app didn't update over the weekend), and on Monday was hit with all my purchases at once. The hitch? They weren't ordered by the time I bought them, but from the biggest purchases to the cheapest. This caused me to over draft $175 on about $20 worth of purchases. When I went to him for help, explained that I was currently in a financial hardship and I needed every dollar, he said "Hey, I'm doing you a favor here, I'm going to refund one of them". ONE? I still got over drafted $140 and he said he was doing ME a favor. I highly suggest you pretend this place doesn't exist.

Ricardo Avila1Been a customer of this bank going back to 97, which happens to be the year I moved to this state with my family. If it isn't one thing with this bank it's something else. My son got some checks for his birthday 2 weeks ago. Where he just turned 4, my wife and I signed for him and each signed the checks ourselves. Depending on the day and the branch we are at, we've been able to cash the checks without to much of a headache. Truth be told, we've been told to do this with the checks for the past couple of years. At first they weren't going to cash them, until they realized I had an account with them. Then they say they can't do it because my son doesn't have an account with them. Then its, we can deposit the checks for you. I should of stayed home and use the mobile app for a deposit if this was going to be the case. Waisted 40 mins of my time, and now I have to find an atm to take out the amount I originally wanted to cash the checks for

Betsy Lewis-Bowie5I am there every week for business and personal checking. They have always been polite and take the time to explain things to me if something doesn't work the way I thought it would. I've dealt with pretty much everyone there at one time or another and always had excellent service.
