      This is by far the worst bank EVER!! I gave it one star because it wouldn't accept zero!! I've cashed 100% of my check multiple times, then they'd only clear 50%, then less then 30%. Now, the last 3 weeks, they e posted my money and taken it back, after paying bills I was in the red due to TCF taking my money back again. Now, a % was given, the it ALL WAS TAKEN BACK!! They're telling me , You have to get with your company, have them get a statement saying my check cleared their bank, pick it up, bring it to TCF, and TCF will go from there. So I asked for my check back.. NOPE!! I asked for a number to call whomever is making these decisions, and was told,"the decision was made internally and I have to use the Customer Service 800 number. I've tried several time and they NEVER answer!! An hour and 27 minutes last night I waited for NO ANSWER!! So if I don't take another part of full day off work on Monday (today is Friday), then I have to wait 10 business days to get my money!! Where was all this in TCF's welcome package when they so happily opened my account?? This place is CRIMINAL!! My balance is correct, my spendable is in the red. Hmm?? I cant get my money but they sure have it in their grips, I'm sure making money from it!! DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT, TCF IS TERRIBLE!!!!

      Not sure if this is the right location I went to but Tami Caver was the teller who assisted me. We chatted for a while she was very helpful in explaining everything very thoroughly. Overall she had a wonderful personality and excellent customer service will definitely be returning.

      Long wait and none of the tellers would a knowledge you. This is the second time I’ve been to this location. First time I walked in and wanted to open a account but the guy making a huffing and puffing sounds like he didn’t want to help me. He went and asked the lady to see if I can open a account but she said about half hour wait and there is literally no one ahead of me. Terrible service! If I could give a ZERO star I would!

      Bad customer service went to cash my check the teller tells me my paper check is saying not found in there system she called her boss but never got an answer to put the check through. Went to my actual bank the check went through😒 wow

      I'd give 0 stars if it was a option , not sure what's going on but past.month I've had nothing but excuses as to why I cant withdraw , or no one is here . Today is satruday and came half hour before closing and no one is here and no explanation as to why all month I havent been able to withdraw money either do to systems being down or no one being at bank when they are supposed to be open , use to be a great bank now it sucks!!!!

      Why does it take so long to get a hold of customer service. Is it because all the American people who are laid off and I keep getting a call center in the Philippines and when asked a question they don't understand and then put me on hold only to disconnect me. Not happy.....been waiting over a month to get checks and now I'm about to give up on TCF as a good bank ...very unhappy now

      I’ve been banking here for years. They have not offered me anything: credit cards, loans, nothing. What can the bank do to help me establish credit? I am sticking with the credit union.

      Currently sitting in drivethru and no teller working the drive thru. Ten minutes wait so far and no one even in front of me. This is total nonsense

      TCF bank is hands down a much better bank then citizens bank. citizens bank is racist dont bank with citizens.
