  Chuck Swope represented us in the purchase of 2 properties during the expansion of our company. Chuck went above and beyond what was expected from a commercial realtor. I agree with you that the outcome of your matter is disappointing for me as well. We work very hard to accomplish our client’s objectives and, sometimes, despite our best efforts, the outcome is not what anyone wanted. That said, we cannot be responsible for items that are beyond our control, to include how other parties to a real estate transaction will react or respond. If I ever gave you the impression that we could do this, I apologize and your frustration is completely understandable. In the nearly twenty years that I’ve been in the real estate business, we have supported great outcomes for reasonable clients, but never have we suggested that we can control things that are inherently out of our control. I’m flattered that it was your belief that we could control how another party reacts in a real estate transaction, but that is simply not the world that we live in.
