  I can’t say enough good things about Dean and his team. Working with them from just discussing my options, through preapproval and onto closing day was wonderful. Dean is thorough and answers every question you may have, offers guidance to you freely. As a first time homebuyer, this was critical for me! I am so glad my realtor referred me to him.

  Dean Riddell of SWBC Mortgage has guided the four married couples of my immediate family through the home-buying process and has assisted friends I have recommended to him. Dean has been in this industry for a long time and has acquired a stellar knowledge and common sense that just can't be equaled. He has treated my home-buying children as if they were his children, giving them the advice that would benefit them the most not just in the immediate home-buying process, but in the long term for their best financial health. That's what I admire about Dean -- he will treat you as a member of his own family, and in my book, that is the most ethical and kindest way of doing business.   I feel very fortunate that my wife and I were able to work with Dean at SWBC Mortgage. This was our first home purchase and I was really afraid because we both felt clueless about the process. What we really appreciated about Dean was that he had us come in and just visit with him first. We were able to ask all the questions we wanted and Dean was so good at simplifying everything for us. When we did find a home that we wanted to purchase Dean even helped us out by emailing some documents while he was on vacation. He definitely likes helping people and definitely cares about his clients. If you are thinking about buying a home, call Dean and setup a meeting-he'll point you in the right direction.

  Dean was incredible! He guided us through every step of our mortgage application process and gave us great tips. He was extremely patient with us as we were first-time home buyers and had a million questions. He even answered late-night text messages and went into the office at 10:00 at night to make sure that we could put in an offer on a house before it left the market. He is incredible. You CANNOT find anyone more caring or responsible.

  Working with Dean and his team was a great experience. Dean came highly recommended from family who had used him, and he did not disappoint. As we prepared to apply for our mortgage all of my friends and co workers were warning me " now be careful, the lenders will try to get you for more than you can afford." Imagine my surprise and relief when Dean sat down and went over our numbers with us and not only did he not push us for more than we could afford, but actually told us, sure, you can have $XYZ, but based on what you are showing me that is too much money for you. Here is the price range you should shop in!" Thanks to Dean and his guidance we found a mortgage that works for us! Once we made our offer Dean and Laura were extremely helpful throughout the process and managed to close us in under a month as was the terms of our contract with the seller. Dean and his team treated us right all the way through the process and I truly felt like we had someone taking care of us. We will use Dean and his team again when we need a mortgage lender!

  I worked with Matt McLean through SWBC and he was a God send. This was my first time purchasing a home and I had no idea what I was doing. Matt McLean always shot me straight, and made the process almost effortless and basically painless. He championed for me during the approval process to craft a loan for me that would work for me and my family. SWBC and Matt were the best and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank them enough!

  I spoke with Dean several times before buying a house. On the first occasion, which was over a year before I started looking at houses I spoke with him about home ownership and where I was and where I needed to be to be able to financially take the next step and close on a house. Even with telling Dean I was just there to get some pointers and just talk he was perfectly fine with that. He is extremely helpful and wants what’s best for his customers. With Dean it isn’t about money. He genuinely cares about people. He wants people to succeed and be able to stay in their homes. From the moment I stepped foot in the doors until we had the keys in our hands Dean was amazing. I’ve heard bad stories about buying a house and how gruesome it is, with Dean it isn’t that way. I would recommend Dean and his staff to anybody.

  Dean was incredibly helpful for my wife and I. This was our first home and Dean walked us through the entire process. He let us make the choices while presenting us with all of the options and really teaching us along the way.
