  This is my second home purchase and I had a terrible experience with a transitional bank the first time. Two of my coworkers recommended Kyle to us. He is really great to work with. His fees are super reasonable and he is very proactive on responding emails and questions. I even got emails from him like 3 am in the morning (not sure if he sleeps :)). He definitely made our purchase of a new construction so stress-less. No last minute surprise and provided early clear to close notice. I would definitely use him again!

  I started out my condo search process as a first time buyer fresh out of college with very little experience or guidance on property transactions. I immediately to reach out to Chase since I was already banking with the institution, and I also had a friend who recommended a broker to whom I also reached out. Then I met a real estate agent through Zillow that I really liked; he recommended also meeting Kyle. I was able to compare all my options, and it was clear that Kyle was able to give me better terms (total loan amount, rate, etc) since there are no middle men he has to go through to get the loan. In addition, I very clearly remember that within five minutes of our first phone call, Kyle had given me incredibly useful advice that no other lender or broker had brought up at all - that I had the option to ask for a seller's credit and that my pre-approval letter to the sellers need not contain the actual total amount that I was approved for. I really appreciated being given strategies that would help me in my home buying process instead of the other lenders who simply tried to sell me on that fact that they were very experienced with first time home buyers - I made the decision to go with Stonehaven Mortgages. I filled out an easy to navigate online mortgage application, then Kyle sent me a few emails, all very clear and concise, with the exact documents he needed from me and when he needed them by. My search process went fast - I put in an offer on a condo, negotiated for a day or two, and received an oral acceptance on Christmas day. It really speaks volumes that everyone I was working with, obviously including Kyle, was responsive on the most important holiday of the year. Kyle and I mostly communicated via text, with phone calls as needed, and I generally received responses within the half hour. I closed this past week, and I loved how prepared Kyle was - about two weeks before closing he told me all compliance requirements had already been met, and there was no more effort needed on my part but to wait. My closing process took around one hour - the seller's attorney even made a comment on how it was one of the quickest, most efficient closings he'd been to. Overall, Kyle is a fantastic lender that I would recommend to anyone.
