  The experience with Vito and his team was ok because leading up to the closing we had challenges in communication. We did not receive wire information for the money to close until Friday afternoon for a closing on Monday, despite reaching out earlier in the week for this information. At the time of closing we were at the Title Company and neither us, our Title Company, nor agent received any upfront communication about having to e-sign documents. Signing was done the old school way and this made the process take much longer than expected.

  I was given Vito’s info from a realtor friend, I should tried other loan agents before just going with him, in the beginning the communication was good l, but as we got further into the process the worse it got then I got passed off to Gianna his assistant then things went from ok to worse, no communication on when my loan was locked in till he called me one day explaining ur not locked in so now the interest rate has gone up by 1% sorry, also at closing the closing costs weren’t accurate at all, ended up being way more then I was told in the beginning, my last house purchase in Maryland experience with NFM lending was way better the closing costs didn’t change from the day they gave me a final disclosure. Which I also never received from Vito he called me before closing saying oh bring this much money I think. All in all I probably should of just stuck with my last mortgage company for buying a new home but I wanted to give someone local a chance. Hind sight is always 20/20.

We sent out multiple emails, did video calls explaining costs, spoke as well, and when things changed last minute with your situation, terms change as well. And unfortunately this has been a rising interest rate environment and from when we originally spoke rates did increase the past few months. once you were under contract we locked in at the current market rate. Again I apologize you feel this way me and my team are always here to take your calls. If there was an issue we would have addressed it right when that issue came up.

  Vito and his team were amazing to work with. They kept me up to date on everything as we went along and provided thorough explantations for anything my fiance and I did not understand. Contract to close was such a smooth process. I would highly reccomend!

  First off as a first time homebuyer sometimes we think we have an idea what is involved in the process and TV shows make it look easy. You need have an experienced loan officer that can answer all your questions, give you the in and outs of the process, that will help you every step of the way, and who will be truly working for you. I learned that quickly from a (past) failed experience which I had to abort because I felt there was a lack of experience. After that happened I was referred to my new loan officer Vito Roppo with Fairway Mortgage which I regret not being referred to sooner. I can truly say that this man has passion for this and cared about what my wife and I wanted. We were very nervous starting the process because with everything going on it can be even more intimidating if you don't have the right officer to guide you. He listens very well. He explains the process as there are a lot of moving parts. If you call him he always answers or gets right back in touch. The biggest thing most people will face is credit issues. He let know what was needed to be taken care of to move the process along and I did so. He made us true believers that we were in good hands. Vito and his team made sure our budget fell in-line with our finances which is one of the most important things to make certain your not gonna be under financial strain after the home purchase. He helped to make our 2021 year a very special year. Vito has checked up on us a few times after the close to make sure we were good and we really appreciate him. I'm sure there are other great loan officers out there but Vito Roppo and Fairway Mortgage are as good as they come. Any future home endeavors or individuals I know will be going to him and his team for sure. Thank You Vito And Fairway
