  I contacted Wings and TopLine and Spire. All had helpful aspects but Spire clearly stood above the pack. Dylan is a loan officer at Spire who showed the best communication skills of any credit union I’ve contacted. Hands down. Dylan never once treated us like “the next transaction” but rather he wanted to understand the puzzle and figure out how to solve it. That takes time… time that he might not get paid for. And he showed his character. I recommend Spire.

  Spire was so kind with us transferring from another bank and was Easily able to get us set up and we were out with our cards on the day we went Best Place to go!

  NEW WEBSITE GETTING BETTER... GOOD APP! Like bank more than website. Too much login security.. Very long password etc. Too long need to write-down and that defeats purpose of a password!! Will not let me remove data like work phone #, no longer needed. The only solution is to enter fake phone #'s. Could not order checks online, ordered from 3rd party.. New WEBSITE does operate smoothlty, and is faster than some big bank websites. Nice APP ! Works well for doing mobile deposits and checking balances. Do most online banking with large bank, simple to login, check balance, pay bills online, transfer funds, view statements and more. Easy access so I use it more of the time... Banks should understand the KISS principle in software Keep It Simple Stupid

  Paid my loan off way early. Got slapped for a... Pay Off Early Fee...that I had to pay. This crooked institution does not care about the community like those aweful commercials showing the classic truck...I do the right thing by paying my debts, I guess I'm the Ahole?..

  Last week, I went in late in the day to open a new account. I was told that there was not enough time before closing, and I was okay with that. Today, I went in at 2 in the afternoon to try again to open an account. The teller took my name, said someone would be with me in a few minutes. The place was empty, except for 4 employees that I could see, and I sat there for 30 minutes. After that, I told the teller that I was leaving. He seemed surprised, and asked why I don't want to wait. Why am I waiting? I said no, I have better things to do than sit here. I understood why I couldn't open an account the first time. It was late, and tons of customers were in there. But, to not be helped after 30 minutes, when no other customers are there, make me feel like they do want me as a customer for some reason.

  I'm probably going to die because of the actions of this bank today. I was lied to and told a check would not be put on hold that is now on hold for 10 days. I'm a grown man who works 60+ a week who will now have to get his food from a food shelf for 10 day's and might get kicked out of his apartment because of the actions of this bank. None of that will matter though since I'll probably be dead in a few days as I can now not afford the prescriptions I need to live since I cannot access the money I put my blood sweat and tears into to earn. I was directly lied to by the bank teller and then called a liar myself after calling spire customer service when I was later humiliated by a declined card. I've never had problems with this bank until now but their actions today have shown me that their small town credit union shtick is bs, my life and account mean nothing to them. I guess they can have all my money when I die of a stroke, thanks for nothing

  This Branch is open on Saturdays from 9-12, which is AWESOME, being that my original CU wasn't. I've since switched my banking to Spire. Whether I've come in to do my banking through them to access my other account at another credit union, or to access my account with them, I've always had excellent customer service.

  Carter Ankrah is a top Financial Services Officer. He is energetic, personable, understanding, and went overboard to solve an account issue for me. He explains clearly and thoroughly. Carter is what Spire Credit Union - Eden Prairie is all about. I love banking here!

  Spire is a for-profit bank masquerading around as a non-profit bank. Members first? You build a brand new building and don't provide a public bathroom? Can't have multiple checking accounts, not because of technology limitations, but because of policy that was created to make it simple for employee? It's some pretty twisted logic to think that making things easier for employees at the expense of members is putting members first? I can list a dozen more of examples of how spire does not put members first and how they operate as a for profit bank. Talked with senior manager about this and he said "what do you want me to do?" Apparently management doesn't understand how to invoke change or had their hand tied by the board. Very disappointing...

  Very antiquated online features. Clueless employees. There are better places to put your money, don't waste your time with Spire.
