  Terrible experience! I'm missing paperwork some paperwork they sent me are missing signatures. I had to continual call and email to get them to do anything! Then they started to want me to do some online notary which costed another 100 which was never disclosed but then some manager decided that was needed after it not being disclosed to begin with. I feel incredibly uncomfortable about the purchase of even a small 5k property and couldn't imagine them handling the title of anything of a high value! Nothing in any of the actual process was explained properly up front despite me asking right up front for all the steps involved as a new land purchaser. All sounded like i sign papers in an email they sign papers and include papers in am email I deposit money and get the deed and signed paperwork. None of that was the case. I had to email or the call the office for every step they never contacted me first despite closing dates and deadlines. Even now since April I still don't have the complete signed documents from the seller or a deed to my property i just know the clerk and recorder office reported getting the sale paperwork and now it comes up with my name on the lad plot searchasidefrom that I have pieces of paperwork that show a sale and receipt for my money transfer! Unreal going to start contacting them again this Monday. They did nothing for my 400+ dollars I did all the work including having to contact them at every step because you won't hear back from them you have to ride them to get anything done at every step.

  I have such an attitude of gratitude for Sheryl D. for providing outstanding service!!! I've been in the service industry for over two decades now and people like Sheryl make all the difference.   It took them over 2 months to get title & close a land purchase deal of only $4.5k. Sent over documents Late December and got back the final docs in March. Plus deed was recorded in wrong county, luckily we caught the error and had them re record the deed in the correct county.

  This was my first closing with Southwest Title. By and large an easy transaction with only a minor hiccup at the end which delayed closing. I would use them again.
