  We were very impressed with the assistance provided by Jack Schmidt, Financial Sales Representative at SouthState Bank in Ocala, FL. We were looking to open a new account, and he greeted us the minute we walked in the door. We had many questions that he was able to address & answer with ease & patience to ensure us that we understood completely what was available in order for us to make the best decisions. He was extremely helpful in explaining how to use and make transactions through the app site. We would recommend this bank for anybody who is looking for a company who has your back and best interest at heart. Thank you so much Jack for making this process easy!

  Absolutely love this bank for various reasons, but mainly because the staff are so willing to help. The teller Emily G. was devoted to helping me figure out my banking situation, went out of her way to help me get my new card, and made certain I had my card before closing hours the same day which was a life saver. Thanks SOUTH STATE & Emily!

  We have been banking with CenterState Bank since 2003. They are a great bank and have extremely qualified and helpful employees who go above and beyond with their customer service. We appreciate their expertise in handling our business account and caring attitude. Truly a hometown bank who care about their customers.

  The branch on S.S. Blvd went to drive through service only. Was a total cluster. They allowed people to tie up lines filling out applications while they hold up everyone else behind them for 30+ minutes. The bank is also in love with its deposit tickets. May as well resign to to the fact that you will be wasting time filling out forms at the teller window even when they open back up for inside service. Why? Because they won't put deposit tickets out at the courtesy desk next to the teller windows. This bank is like the blind leading the blind as far as customer service efficiency goes.

  My husband and I Visited today for assistance with a loan issue and checking - was NOT acknowledged upon arriving- blatantly ignored and bypassed completely after waiting patiently for over 30 minutes. When my husband asked the young lady whom graciously greeted the couple that arrived after us- if their was an order in which we can expect to be called , she rudely stated “they know you’re here”- and ushered the well dress couple into her office. After a considerable wait with still no acknowledgement of our presence there -other than when promot d by my husband, of course. We quietly left - not before kindly acknowledging the staff as we departed. . I consider myself both patient and kind- I love nothing more to give credit where credit is due - I leave positive reviews as much I possibly can. I can not remember my last negative review. With that being said. If you’re looking for personable or even sub par customer service. In my opinion this particular branch isn’t for you. FYI- I was able to travel across town to the other branch - greeted immediately and helped without hesitation by a customer service oriented gentleman by the name of Brian. If you’re forced to bank with this institution in our area (due to a merger , as I was prior to closing my account today) may I suggest to save your time and take the trip across town where the team members are friendly and without Prejudice

  This is a very friendly bank with very helpful employees. The building is also impressive and the interior decor very inviting. It's very obvious this is a customer-oriented operation that aims to please.

  I can not say enough good things about Joe Graff and his staff at the location on Silver Springs Blvd. I have been a customer of this bank for years and Joe has always gone out of his way to answer my questions and provide sound advice.

  Never open on a Saturday.. Online computers never keep up with your deposits or withdrawals.. Changing banks on Monday 8/6/2018 .. I don't like not having more control over my money in the bank .. Spent to much on the fancy building ..
