  Recently I've moved my company bank accounts from big box banks over to SouthStar and I could not be happier! There is never a wait inside the branch. You don't have to schedule an appointment just to speak with a banker. The branches are VERY nice inside, much more so than the big box banks. They also have restrooms available for customers...just imagine that! On top of that, all of the staff are super friendly and helpful, and I've been into 3 branches with the same result. I won't go into detail about my banking needs but I will say quite a lot of money moves in and out of the accounts in a year and the big box banks weren't giving me any loans against the cash reserves I have or against any of my other collateral. SouthStar already got me approved for a new loan against some of my assets. :-) If you are tired of being treated like a deposit or withdrawal instead of like a valuable customer, then you are at the wrong bank! Check Southstar out. I doubt you'll regret it.

  My wife and I recently worked with Bill from SouthStar to buy land - something we had never done before. Bill went above and beyond in a busy market to answer our questions and get everything done quickly as we tried to make an offer and close on the purchase in a short amount of time. It was great working with someone locally, and I would definitely recommend reaching out to them!

  After several years of never knowing who to trust and where to go for refinance support for my home loan, I realized why not just go through my personal bank. SouthStar Bank was not only able to assist me with refinance they made the entire process effortless. Bill Staley and Michelle Felde were able to help me lower my current rate by two points, now I understand this may not be possible for everyone however if your looking for a positive and absolute support banking experience for your refinance then SouthStar Bank is the place. They were able to do everything over the computer and phone except signing the final documents that needed a notary obviously. Bill Staley and Michelle Felde we’re always ready to hep with any questions and the peace of mind they provided is something in todays chaotic world is truly missing. Hats off to them both and to the SouthStar family for all you do.

  We had a great experience with Southstar. JW Smith and Michelle Felde kept everything very seamless with minimal effort on our part, while also keeping us informed throughout the process. The fees, rates etc were exceptional too.

  I can not say enough GREAT things about SouthStar Bank in Round Rock. Our company has been doing business with this branch and team for several years now and they always go above and beyond for all of our business needs. Recently they did a personal loan for me and again they went above and beyond. The ENTIRE team at this SouthStar Branch really take pride in what they do and they definitely take care of their customers.   I am excited to join the SouthStar Family. My experiences thus far have been great! They are truly a relationship oriented bank. They are very open, honest and made sure to help me navigate my transition in a way that is least disruptive. Kristy was fantastic and took the time to walk me thru details and at that same time made me feel like I had been a member for years.   JW (and his Team) has been our Account Manager for our business for many years and we have been extremely happy.   I had a great experience with JW Smith & Team closing my construction loan. JW is easy to get on the phone and get responds prompt to your messages & needs. He also laid out what I needed to do. I appreciate straight to the point people! Per usual, with any transaction of this size; issues arise, but yet the process was still pretty seamless & was worked out very quickly.
