Being my first home purchase, I was really looking for someone who was extremely knowledgeable, patient to talk thru my questions with me, and accessible to go over any concerns I may have.   I can’t give Gino Moro at Southland Mortgage enough stars for the job he did helping me with my home loan. I was living in another state, and buying a home in Florida. There were a lot of difficult issues to overcome with the loan. The whole process took about a year and he was always professional and positive every time I had to talk to him. He even recommended a lawyer and insurance agent that helped me close on the loan! He also puts in extra hours to see that all paperwork is in order. And he is one of the most honest people I have met in business. You can never go wrong working with him. 100+ Stars!

  Gino at Southland Financial Services in Hollywood, Florida helped me and guided me through the mortgage process seamlessly. I was stressed out providing so much information and not knowing where it was going to lead me. Recently divorced I had a deadline of moving from my ex-husbands home and Gino was able to get me through the process and even close on time on my new condo.. I am proud of myself for buying my 1st home all alone with the help and Gino and Southland Mortgage Company. I was impressed that he worked all hours and even had to call me on a Saturday and Sunday prior to my closing to make sure everything was in order.   If I hadn't been referred to Gino Morro by Legal Aid I would have been forced out of my house of 37 years! I heard about a program called Y-Grene that offered an array of energy saving home improvements to those who couldn't afford conventional means of financing. Once the improvements were completed the the costs were added to the county tax roles in the form of Pace Loans. My $44,000 home improvement bill became a $70,000+ bill because of the loan interest rates. This raised my mortgage payment, real estate taxes, and escrow due. I live on social security and could not make the monthly payment. I had 30 days to come up with the money and was frantic. No one could help me. I turned to Legal Aid asking for guidance. They were aware of Y-Grene and referred me to Gino. Thank God for Gino Morro. He was the only person that stepped in and saved me from losing my home. He refinanced my mortgage and paid off those damaging Pace loans. it it weren't for him my grandchildren and I would be out of our home. It was one of the most terrifying episodes of my life. Even after his help Gino is always there to give me advice. Gino Morro is amazing and I cannot say enough good about him. He truly was a miracle. Thank you, Gino.
