  Stopped in today to see if they still had a pistol I saw on armslist a few weeks ago. The guy behind the counter greeted me very nicely and didn't rush over to me when I was browsing the guns, which I greatly appreciated and just let me look. He reminded me of my dad when he used to sell power sports, no pressure, not in my face just a smile and the good old give a holler if you want to see something. The dog that came out from the back was so sweet. I might not be that old but it just reminded me of going into gun stores 15-20 years ago with my pops when people were actually nice and not trying to sell you the whole damn store.

  I have done many transactions at Sound Loan. Great people, honest and friendly. I very much enjoy stopping in there. They always make you feel welcome.

  The people that run this place are good folks. Super nice and helpful. The selection of firearms they have is actually really interesting. Good place for private transfers.

  Always happy with my business here. I have only used them for buying and transferring firearms, so i cannot speak to the pawn portion of the business. However, if you are doing a ffl transfer, this is the best place between Burlington and Lake city that i have found. Prices are the best and the owners have always been friendly, profesional. I feel they are great members of the community.

  Had a bit of a mixup with a transfer for a gun I had shipped there I guess with an employee not sending the paperwork to the right agency but the owner is great and made it right. Just bought another gun there today and everything was as smooth and professional as it gets. The owner tells you what’s going on and doesn’t try to be a salesmen which is exactly what I’m looking for. Definitely my go to shop for used firearms now

  This is a great place ship guns to as a FFL. I’ve shipped two via Sound Loan and they on charge $15 buck plus they have great communication and are very knowledgeable. They’re well run and I will continue using them. The shop is clean and they have quality items for sale

  The very best FFL in the county! I used their FFL service twice for online purchases and they are fast. No appointments needed (like my old favorite and closer 'Precise Shooter'), or long lines like I see at Lynnwood Guns during these pandemic, rioting, and election times. They are friendly to all who come in their door, which is a huge plus.

  Good place to receive your FFL transferred item from my experience. Received a call from them when it arrived and good staff.. The only thing is to bring a printout showing you paid sales tax (this is state law for FFL purchases) when buying receiver/gun/ect. Owner should get a printer and charge a buck or two for printing out receipts showing sales tax paid (required by law...gotta pay for services somehow) if people show up without the printouts. This was not an issue, as I have a printer and the store will tell you to print the printout over the phone when they call to say your item is in. The ability to print for a fee would help his bottom line and making customers more satisfied. Only thing I didn't like are the smug signs about Inslee and 1639, but this is just virtue signaling (not just for libs lol ) for 2Aers. Plan to use them again for any FFL transfers.

  10/10 5 Stars+ *******! People make the difference. Fair, honest, and friendly. I stop in to check inventory from time to time and have always been treated well. Jeff, Cass, and the rest of the gang go the extra mile to make a Sound Deal every time!
