  Wow.... The experience in selling our first home could not have been better! After doing much research, Sophie was the person we put our trust into. It proved to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Sophie came to our house for the initial meeting, sat down and really amazed us! She had very detailed information about our neighbor hood and laid out a very strategic plan that would bring in the most return for our home. All we had to do was follow a detailed time line from start to finish and it was so easy to do since Sophie was so organized. The staging of our house was amazing and the house after Sophie's touches looked better than the day we bought it. We had our open house on Saturday and Sunday and we sold 3 days later significantly above listing price. On top of a great Agent, Sophie is a good person and really cares for her customers.   Review in 2020: Since we had a really good experience with Sophie last time, we just go with Sophie for buying our 2nd house. She quickly understood our needs and requirements. She then took us to houses that are tailored to our needs and affordability. We soon found the a great new home. During the negotiation, she also helped us get extra credits. When applying to mortgage, she also explained me all the terms and numbers very clearly. After everything, she also remaindered and helped me to do refinance when the rate is low. This saves me a lot since I don't follow the rates when I am not buying a house. Review in 2014: Sophie is a very professional, efficient and kind agent. My wife and I were buying our first house and we had only been in US for two years, so we have no clue about how everything works. Sophie patiently explained to me about every step and even every page of every documents I signed. My credit history was not very good at that time, she also helped us to get a good mortgage. Most importantly, she found us a very nice home and accomplished a very good deal. Sophie even contacted me six months later and helped me to refinance and got a lower rate. If she didn't call me, who knows when I will think about refinance. Overall, thanks to Sophie, we bought our first home very smoothly and comfortably.

  I worked with Sophie Shen to sell my top level condo and she did an excellent Job. This was our first time selling and we were in a tough situation as we were buying and selling at the same time. She did an excellent job in understandings our situation and making sure that all the activities that had to be completed for listing were laid out well in advance. The open house was held very professionally and also explained all the pros and cons of each offer. Post accepting the offer she made sure to follow up with the buyer and making sure the deal was closed timely. She was also able to fetch us the highest price for the sale in our community.   Sophie is the best agent in the Bay Area. I knew she has a lot of clients, but I was surprised that she could remember every single word that i said. She asked very detailed questions to figure out your preference, top priority, and your budget range and she can always find a ideal house for you. Every time she walked us through a open house, she explained advantages and disadvantages of the house very clearly but never pushed you to make a decision. She estimated the final price accurately and you are very likely to get the house with the offer price she suggested. She worked very diligently, answered your questions during nights and weekend. Our communications are always smooth and efficient. She knows exactly what you want. We are kind of picky clients as we like new house and great location but with tight budget. Thanks to Sophie, we got our dream house with a very good price even before it's on the market. We also faced difficult/super slow lender during our loan process. Sophie worked so hard and utilized her connections to help us overcome all difficulties. She even helped us to write a few escalated emails to senior managers in the bank which ultimately helped us close the deal on time. We are so excited to have our first home in Bay Area, and we're so lucky to have such an amazing agent like Sophie.   Sophie is an amazing agent. I worked with her to sell my existing home and purchase a new one. For the sale of my house, she created a 25 point listing timeline that scheduled all of the activities that had to take place before the open house (marketing, inspections, disclosures, etc..) When the open house occurred Sophie staged my house beautifully and I had multiple excellent offers after only two weekends. She was also incredibly patient while I toured dozens of homes and provided thoughtful feedback on each one. Upon the close of my new home there was an unexpected issue with the escrow company. Sophie was a fierce advocate on my behalf to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. I would completely recommend Sophie Chen. Again, she is an amazing agent.

  My friend had a great experience with Sophie so we decided to hire her as our real estate agent. Awesome choice it was! Her results speak for themselves -- we were able to sell our townhouse at $100K above asking price in a rather softening market, and in record speed (less than two weeks from listing to signing). I know there are lower cost options nowadays with Zillow, Redfin, etc. but I'm a believer that you get what you pay for. I would recommend Sophie to anyone looking for a real estate agent in the Bay Area (especially around North San Jose and Milpitas) that care about and professionalism and getting results above all else.

  Sophie recently helped me to purchase my house. She is quite knowledgeable about the real estate market, especially in the neighborhood I lived. She is very responsive although she has a lot of clients. The market was super competitive when I was doing house-hunting.   Sophie is a top-notch real estate agent. She represented us a seller and excelled in all aspects. She helped us sell the house in a single weekend (Sat-Sun) with multiple offers. She then negotiated with the buyers agents that resulted in a record high price along with 2 months of free rent back. Even after the sale, she represented in all aspects until we moved out.
