  The SoCal VA Homes team took good care of me and made my first home purchase a breeze during a time when it definitely should not have been. They kept open lines of communication, were incredibly responsive (and very apologetic when not), and always provided their best effort. I always felt the team had my best interest in mind and wanted to get me into a home just as badly as I did. I would absolutely recommend these folks to any other Vet looking to buy a home in the area.

  I was not looking to buy a home, but after the ceilings in my bedroom and living room caved in; by a miracle So Cal VA Homes sent me an email asking if I would be interested in applying for a Veteran's Home Loan. I thought I would not qualify, but Gary had me contact a benefits specialist and I was told that I did qualify for a Veterans Home Loan. The process was new to me, but everyone associated with, So Cal VA Homes were very patient and helpful in making sure I understood all the new terminology involved with buying a home. The process took less than 4 months; and I was living in my home! I was very happy that I did not have to pay a very high down payment as non-Veteran home buyers have to do. I can say with sincerity that the United States via So Cal VA Homes, takes care of its veterans.

  Pete, Josh, and the rest of the team at SoCal VA Homes are outstanding! They helped me harness the benefits of using a VA loan, guided me thru the process and got my family and I a great rate. I have used Pete in the past and have met him in person, and I can tell you that he is a honest, hard-working man that will do what he says. Other loan companies push you from one person to the next, but Pete and Josh were always there thru the whole process.   We recently used So Cal VA Homes for our home purchase in Lake Forest. The entire process was incredibly professional and eliminated almost all of the stress that's comes not just from buying a house, but also from using a VA Loan. The horror stories of using the VA loan to purchase a home, especially in Southern California were completely non-existent as a result of their award winning team. They provide the knowledgeable loan staff, a qualified realtor and underwriters... a package deal team, all of whom specialize in using the VA loan to fund and buy a home. Peter Brady, our loan officer was awesome and always made himself available for questions we had. Felix Figueroa, our realtor was an incredible businessman and knew how to "sell" the VA loan as a good thing to the selling party and their agent, thus eliminating fears commonly associated with VA loans. Carrie, who worked in underwriting was responsive and went out of her way to process our document quickly thus allowing us to comfortably close on time and in good order.   A while back I responded to a piece of mail and met Peter Van Brady and his team of Veterans at SoCal VA Homes. After that first call, I refinanced my VA loan with the company and am very happy with the results BOTH times! Peter and his team are all about helping Veterans. If you want to buy a home or refinance using your VA loan, don’t go ANYWHERE else! You only need to make one call. I lowered my mortgage by $400 in one year.
