  We believe in giving credit when credit is due! We have been loyal members of Sharefax Credit union and will continue to do so for many years to come because of the hometown feel, professionalism , and just the fact that when you have an issue you can speak to an actual person and not a machine like most of your larger banks. We had the pleasure of working with the supervisor of the Batavia Branch this week, Leanne Karr. She helped us with several items including incoming and out going wire transfers and updating features on accounts. Thank you Leanne for taking the time to make us feel at ease with the process, while educating us as well for the next process. Your doing a fantastic job!!

  I have banked with sharefax for about 20 years now and they have always done a fantastic job. Very understanding and caring people who go out of their way to help you in any way they can. I am proud to be a part of a credit union who does so much for their members and their community!! Great job Sharefax! You Rock! I appreciate you!!

  I'm honestly baffled that sharefax has so many 1 star reviews. my boyfriend referred me to sharefax and neither one of us has EVER had a bad experience; hes been banking with them for over 4 years and I've been with them just under 2 years. he takes out emergency loans every few months and we rarely have to wait longer than a few minutes. the tellers are always very friendly and approachable. I love the little paper flowers all the tellers have on their desks. I would give 5 stars again and again.

  I dread making a payment for my loan because EVERY SINGLE TIME I am on hold for 5 minutes or more. Then I am lucky if they don't disconnect once they do finally answer, starting the waiting game all over again. They need more people that just answer phones. Once the call is finally answered, the process to get the loan paid takes another 5 minutes or more. Never mind the time that the girl I spoke with emailed my account information, including my credit card number & ID number to someone with my last name that I do not know. The only redeeming factor is that at least the people are nice, slow, but nice.

  I have been with this Credit Union for almost 40 years. Never had a problem, got 2 different short term loans here in the past. My husband and I used Fifth Third for banking on our business.. I didn't really like that experience. I will always bank here while my husband banks elsewhere. To each his own...

  This is the first review I have ever left. I am so baffled by a company in 2019 that does not have adequate technology to pay bills online. I HAVE NEVER SUCCESSFULLY MADE A PAYMENT ONLINE. If you call in to make a payment, half of the time, you don't get a person and are forced to leave a voicemail, and the other half of the time, the person is rude. The car lot we bought our car from really upsold this company as one of the best banks they work with. To be let down so hard in my first car buying experience due to a bank is a real disappointment.

  While the customer service I received from the employees was good, I was not impressed with Sharefax Credit Union itself. I wanted to give them my business because they are my local CU and serve the county I work for. I applied for an auto loan with them and the application process cost me $35.00, which is totally ridiculous. I had a friend apply for a personal loan with them who had a similar experience. I applied for auto loans concurrently with several other institutions, one of which was out of state, and none of them charged me a fee. While several of the loans I applied for were approved by other banks and CUs, Sharefax turned me down citing lack of employment length at my current employer. I can understand this being an issue with someone with poor credit, but I have pretty darn good credit and have never had issues before.I am disappointed, because I like to support local businesses when I can, but I think that Sharefax is perhaps just too small to provide the services I've come to expect from other similar institutions. I'm also of the opinion that charging that much for a credit check when you are a financial institution is totally absurd.

  Sharefax has predatory practices. The worst I have ever experienced. Large institutions like AMEX and Visa are far more forgiving and understanding. They claim you are a member but treat you like you are not better than a criminal once they have their "hooks into you. Highly recommend you do not do business with these people

  Extremely rude! We have had our auto loan since October, and every time we have had to call for anything we get attitude, like we are bugging them and not want to help. We are already looking into trying to move the loan to someone else. Will never take another loan if this is who offers.

  Here is the one star review your employee earned today. Customer service tip #1 - never imply a customer is wrong in an attempt to deflect your own misunderstandings or lack of knowledge. I simply called in asking for a copy of my 1099-SA that all HSA account administrators are required to send for tax purposes (never received). Easy right? No, I was not only given incorrect information which baffled me, she called back saying I was given the wrong information because *I* was wrong. Excuse me? Someone needs Customer Service Training 101. And before you send one of the "contact a supervisor" replies, first listen to the phone conversation from 3/12/18 about 9:50am (you record them right?) and jot down the moment I asked for ANY other form than a 1099-SA like she said I did. (basically calling me a liar) Prove that I did, and this negative review is gone. Waiting...
