  I have been a member of SEFCU for over 30 years and have never had any problems. Their checking is truly free as is their savings and preferred saving. I've got a fantastic rate on a car loan and when I was applying for it they were friendly about it. They have a restroom. Which most banks don't, it's really a life saver sometimes. They have drive through tellers and ATMs. I also use their app on which you can make transfers and make mobile check deposits. And ofcourse check your balances. There's no fee for using the app. They have a member solution phone center if you have to talk to a person. I've always been pleased with the service.

  I just need to say a huge ty to sefcu for taking a chance with me when no one else would. I have been working on my credit for a good year and a half and finally got it to a good rating and still I couldn't find decent rates for a car loan. I went to a dealer and we got an ok rate and the salesperson said I want to try sefcu, once we found out I was eligible to have an account with them I was shocked, totally shocked at the rate they accepted me at. I was beyond grateful they took a chance with me and I was also approved for their credit card at another great rate. Ty Sefcu. You have beyond exceeded my expectations!!

  I had received excellent service at this SEFCU branch office until very recently when I was having problems is accessing my previously established online account access. I went in expecting to receive the excellent service previously provided only to have to deal with an indolent and indifferent branch manager who simply got online and pushed the keyboard towards me and told me to figure out what to do. That did not work. Surprise? Not. I followed instruction to call a number at the SEFCU main office for assistance and had the "opportunity" to talk to another indolent, indifferent SEFCU employee who told me to return to the Schodack branch office. I did, and withdrew almost all the money in my account and took it to Trustco where they were very competent and got my money deposited. Do NOT ever waste your time at the Schodack SEFCU branch as it now has a lazy , indolent and indifferent woman manager.

  Bank any were but sefcu. I regretted it within to months.
