  Can't say enough good things about Scott and the team at CrossCountry Mortgage! They were attentive, listened closely to my priorities, and explained everything in detail in a way that was easy to understand as I'm a first time home buyer. Scott presented multiple options and scenarios and clearly had my best interests in mind.   We initially had an amazing experience with Scott Harshman and his team. While purchasing our home, Scott saved the day when our original lender dropped the ball. The following winter we talked to Scott about refinancing. We signed all the paperwork and everything was good to go, but then Scott called to tell us he’d forgotten to lock in our rate. He admitted it was his fault and said he would “make it right”. Over the next couple of weeks we heard from him less and less until he finally completely ghosted us. We finally tried reaching out to corporate as well and they disregarded our issue. We understand that mistakes happen, we’re all human. However not fixing your mistake and ghosting a client is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This cost is a significant amount of money and we lost a relationship with a lender we were hoping to continue working with. I’m really disappointed in the way they’ve handled this. Not only in Scott and his team, but also Cross Country Mortgage for not holding him accountable.

  The team at Cross Country Mortgage were beyond exceptional and very easy to work with. Scott and Samantha were in constant communication with the status of my loan and they completed the loan process in 10 days! They answered all of my annoying questions quickly and thoroughly and made sure I understand everything in the process. I would highly recommend them for any loan needs and would definately use them again for all of my mortgage needs.

  My review comes with a heavy heart because Scott was so good for my first mortgage. It was the reason why I cam back to him and his team for my refinance. I even purposefully ignored the onslaught of mortgage companies calling me to work with Scott, now something I regret. Earlier this year I approached Scott for a refinance of my VA loan. My loan was approved and sent for underweighting, and then I didn't hear from Scott for several days to a week or two, and reached out to him. After several attempts to connect, he called me to tell me that he had forgot to lock in my rate. Now this was in light of the awareness that rates were quickly increasing. Scott assured me he would "make it right," and I trusted his word that he would. After that phone call, he has not responded or answered any of my attempted communications. Cross Country Mortgage also has refused to return my calls and inquiries. I assume because they do not want to truly "make it right" because it will cost them a lot of money. This experience has completely made me loose the trust in Scott Harshman's "word," and this is a reflection of his character. So if you are looking for a company that will be there even if things do not go as expected, keep looking and pass on Scott Harshman and CrossCountry Mortgage.

  Working with Scott and his team was so easy and seamless! We purchased an investment property and Scott walked me through our options, letting me know the details of each so I could decide which would work best for me.   Scott Harshman and his team were awesome. My family and I just had a house built here in Pueblo, and having Scott and his team on board with the loan couldn’t be more simple and easy for us. They worked their tails off with a very difficult Contractor who missed deadlines and tried his best not to get us in the house. Scott Persevered and found us the best loan and at a timely matter.
