He has a fantastic team in place and together they follow the loan process from beginning to end and keep you informed all along the way. Scott and his team can handle any loan and lets you know up front what if any challenges you might find. You get the best rate possible. I can't believe how smooth the process went!   How much do I think Scott is honest, trustworthy, and competent? So much so that I referred myself to him! What I mean is that I met Scott 8 years before I ever bought a home--he was my landlord for two years. During those two years I got to know him fairly well and had a high opinion of his integrity and competence. Well, 6 years after I left his rental and began to look into buying a house, my impression of Scott still stuck with me. Over that same period of time I had met many people involved in the real estate business in Utah, but of everyone I met I made my first call to Scott. He just stands out that much. He's a true professional and a stand-up guy. But we also wanted to be informed consumers and consider multiple options so we called other highly rated or recommended mortgage brokers and lenders. I'm so glad we chose Scott and his team. He told us after we selected him that he was going to treat us like family and hoped to exceed our expectations. That's nice to hear, but also just a good line that is maybe a little over-used. But he meant it! I couldn't imagine a family member treating us any better than he did, and I have good family members! He was tireless and patient in answering questions and helping us be informed buyers; he watched the interest rates with us for several weeks so that we could lock the best rate, and he gave very good counsel to our realtor in what he wanted negotiated on our behalf. His team is a great asset too--wonderful to work with. If I haven't been clear about it yet, here it is: Scott Asbell is the man you want, full stop, period, exclamation mark.

  Scott and his team are best I've ever dealt with! Scott has helped my wife and I with several real estate transactions and refinancing. Every time, he and members of his team have been upfront with all the details and been very willing to walk us through anything we didn't understand. I've never dealt with a more honest person than Scott. He truly cares about the person and not just the transaction. We have dealt with other mortgage people and companies before, but since we met Scott, we will never work with anyone else! There is nobody better, in my book!

This was our first time buying a home and they did everything to not only get the best possible interest rate but they taught us on how we could increase our credit while our home was being built.
