  Didn't even deserve one star. Definitely need some hospitality and some respectful staff. And can offer better pricings. Always low blowing with their attitudes and rudeness. Smh 👎

  I got a Necklace from them my neck was irritated all that night so I took it to Kay’s Jewelry to see if was real in it wasn’t they gave me my money back and not to mention I have bought a flatscreen TV from them a while back and it went out a month later should of know then but I would like to share my experience with them so it won’t happen to anyone else

  Ma’am, as we explained when you brought the item back to us, the item you purchased WAS genuine gold. It was marked in three places 14k (which you mentioned they said it wasn’t marked and it was), we also tested it in front of you with our electronic tester and the chain itself tested 14k. We offered you a refund because you clearly weren’t happy with the purchase, not because the item wasn’t genuine. As far as your neck being irritated, that doesn’t determine genuine gold or not, it typically is a chemical and allergic reaction within your body to certain jewelry or even jewelry cleaning chemical…it doesn’t determine real vs not real. In regards to the TV, that was never mentioned to us, and we do provide a 30 day warranty on ALL electrics we sell, so if it went out within a month, you could’ve returned it and exchanged it as well. We have been in the pawn business for 30 years and in the jewelry business for even longer, we are family owned and have an excellent reputation…we wouldn’t have that without making sure everything we sold was genuine, which we showed you it was. Our reputation means everything, and a part time employee at a chain jewelry store might not have been the best place to start for an expert opinion. I’m sorry you felt the need to share this, however we have, and always will, stand behind our business, our reputation, our customer service and our products! We would be happy to meet you out at the jewelry store you took it to and clarify any confusion anyone may have with the item, as well as show you as a consumer how to look for the markings since you chose not to at our store.

  I really do not see how people could rate this amazing shop with anything lower than 5 stars?! This is one of the best pawn shops in the entire St. Louis area HANDS DOWN! They are very fair on their pricing, they will give you a great offer on pawns or sells.And everything they have is usually NEGOTIABLE! The entire staff is always very friendly, helpful and most certainly knowledgeable! They are my new place to go for anything firearms related because, I'm just being honest their prices can not be beat! I'd say this is the best business IN TOWN! They really make you feel not only like a friend, but family for sure! Great job guys, I will be coming back for many, many years to come!

  Bought a monitor from them for a good price, but had to drive an hour to get it and before I drove I asked if there was anything wrong with it and they said no, so I drove and bought it and when I got home, the power cable wasn't the right one, so I couldn't use my monitor. So I had to call the manufacture and try and get a powercord from them. Now I have to wait a week to use it. Overall, fair prices, but should definitely make sure they work before selling it

  I’m sorry about your drive...we do test the items, as well as offer a 30day warranty and would be more than happy to exchange for one of the other monitors available if necessary

  I love sams pawn shop. I go here regularly and they are very understanding and generous if you need more time to pay off your loan. I just wish they were open later its hard to make it there once you get off work. Other than that i love the owners/workers they are very friendly. If i were to go somewhere to buy something "used" i would go here, whatever they take into their shop they always make sure everything is in good working condition and if you "lose" an item and it has something small wrong with it they fix it immediately before trying to sell it. I would definitely recommend going here rather than other pawn shops.
