  I have a car loan with Safe 1 and recently I have moved to Santa Clarita. I got a letter in the mail from Safe 1 saying they noticed I moved and wanted me to sign and send them a signature to confirm new address. So i did and they still have not updated their system to use my new address, but they know I moved. I called in and the guy said they never got the change of address letter from me so now I have to physically drive up there to give them my new address since i know they wont read my letters when i send them. I am also in the process of refinancing with a new lien holder so i can lower payments and get rid of all ties with this non-ethical bank. If you dont have a bank account with them, they treat you like mud. Update: I did eventually get a hold of someone who was more knowledgeable of my situation and was able to change my address through email with a photocopy of ID. This made it so much easier. I just wish I could do this online like I do with Bank of America or Chase.

  My mom bank. She always rarely go to bank on mill rock way and oak St. I once enter in this kind of bank on oak st, not mill rock way. Therefore, I cannot describe what I experience inside on mill rock way. So far, I observe... Good plants, free grass, pretty green trees with strong brown branches. Good smell of flowers. So welcoming entrance white doors with shine windows. What fantastic bank we have in the feelings of this kind of bank, safe 1 credit union, on mill rock way Bakersfield ca.

  Monica was rude and very unhelpful. She had the worst attitude and disregard. She also lied several times to cover herself and should not be assistant manager. I have never been so poorly treated.

  Changing your address with Safe1 is a BIG problem. I can change my address easily with other institutions but it takes an act of Congress to change it with Safe1. Sux

  I tried getting a car loan through Safe1, but seems they did not care for my business; calls were not returned and questions were not answered correctly.

  Quit, great location (Mill Rock Way) and very good customer service. Best of all....never packed!
