  I had my mortgage through freedom and was pretty content... but when I wanted to refinance with a lower interest rate that was being offered by several other companies they refused to work with me... my credit is great and I never missed a payment. I showed proof and documents from other lenders. But they still said they can’t do it.. so I refinanced with another company. Maybe they will buy the Loan again. I rather not waste time on them if I have the choice.

  Jesse Santana made the whole loan process seamless. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable, accessible, communicates well and gets the job done.   I'm so grateful Connie Escobedo referred me to Jesse Santana with Freedom Mortgage, because my experience was nothing short of stellar. With Connie and Jesse together in this market right now, I couldn't have asked for a better team. The communication between the three of us kept everything moving. Jesse is full of knowledge and experience necessary to walk anyone through the journey. The title company was happy to see it was Jesse Santana that prepared the loan, because he always has everything thoroughly prepared.

  I am choosing to give this rating simply because of my poor experience I got working with the company. There should be no broken promises made to anyone who chooses to work with this company and that's what I received. I would think twice about going with this branch. An employee told me he was working something for me on 5/3/2021 and I still haven't heard from the guy. Unprofessional, next stop BBB.

  I am absolutely appalled at how poorly Freedom Mortgage handled the closing of my home. I was told that I would be able to close and move to my home on a Friday before a 3 day weekend and was confirmed by the title company. I was told that as long as I had my funds wired first things in the morning by 9am that I would have Keys in my hand later that day. Because of the fires in NorCal there were no moving trucks avail and spent $700 for a Penske just for the day. I contacted the loan officer just after 9 am to inform her that the wire was sent and confirmed received. She waited an hour to contact me back and then told me that she had called our title company and they were closed early for the weekend and it was too late to process and record and we would not be getting g our keys that day. Not only did she lie about the title company being closed because I called and so did my agent and they were open and confirmed that they received our funds. My family had to scramble to find an available hotel on short notice for 4 nights. Not only did we have to find a hotel we also needed to find a storage for all our belongings. We spent over $1000 on storage fees, hotel accommodations and food. I have a toddler with sever breathing complications and because of covid we did our best to keep her healthy and safe and not expose her during the pandemic. We checked into our hotel with no more than the clothes on our backs since EVERYTHING was packed away and now In storage. I am appalled, upset, and hurt that my children had to go through this. And if this isn’t the worst. Tuesday morning when our loan officer said I would get my Keys. I called all morning knowing I had to check out by 12:30 and my daughters were in session for school. I didn’t not get ANYTHING from anyone at this facility. Not one call back from the manger Curt whom I left a message for. If it wasn’t for the builder allowing us to get the Keys even though Freedom mortgage dropped the ball again for the second time I would have not gotten my keys till the next day. I cannot stress how upset I am about this entire ordeal. All my money that was saved to purchase furniture was wasted on the fees spent for our hotel accommodations. And I have yet to hear a call back from them regarding my experience. This is poor management on their behalf and a definite inconvenience to my family.

  I can't say it enough. Jesse Santana is the best ! Made my husbands and I first time home buying experience smooth as possible! The best part that no question was a stupid one with him, he answered them all and promptly! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a home.

  Curt and his team were great. My broker Matt Rainer set everything up and curt and joe knocked it out of the park. The only team I will ya for any home loans in the future. I recommend if you want the job to be done right us curt and his team!!!
