Rocky's Auto Credit Reviews

Harold Copelin1One of my biggest mistakes was deciding to buy a car from this dump called a dealership. Bought a car from this lot all cash through Ernie the salesman. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Being younger they tend to really take advantage of newer car buyers. While at the same time Ernie sticks us with comments like "Sooo you actually have this number on you" as if he was shocked that we actually had cash for the car. Just disgusting. After Ernie quickly started giving us the attention afterwards to push the sale we ended up going through with purchasing the car. Was told it was in great condition, been serviced, and also a great deal for the car... NOT EVEN 2 days later I pull on to a highway and it suddenly drops off speed and nearly gets me killed. We then start dealing with Justin the servicer on their vehicles. He calls me and lets me know that because i hadn't financed the car (which I was told wasn't an option) my warranty wouldn't cover the costs of the repairs. He then sold me the warranty given to financed cars for 200 dollars. I told him as long as the car was fixed, then I would give them the deposit for the warranty. I also told him to test drive the car for a longer distance this time which he agreed to. We get the car back on the Monday of the next week that we brought it in. The very next day as I'm driving it home, the same exact thing happens and I am almost rear-ended yet again by the car behind me. I call Justin and he tells me to bring the car back yet again and they'll fix it when it should have been fixed the first time or let alone checked before selling us the car. Both times my car was in the shop, I was told that there were other cars in line before mine and that they will get to my car when the get to it. Showing no since of urgency with what we've gone through purchasing here. I call Justin the Sales Manager to see if we could get some type of compensation for all the time wasted/financial loss we've been put through and for the life threatening situations I was put in while driving their car. I was told that essentially it was my own fault for purchasing a faulty car and that they can't compensate for anything not even the $200 deductible we were told to pay before they could fix the vehicle. So here we are.. Iv only been able to drive this car 3 days out of the 2 weeks I've owned it. I was told that they couldn't take it back for another vehicle or get any money back after the contract we signed. Basically after talking with everyone in the chain even general manager Justin.. they just told us we were screwed and that we decided to buy the faulty car so its just our fault... no one tried helping us with this entire situation. So do yourself a favor and TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE if your in need of a vehicle. Go to a dealership who actually takes care of their customers and won't put your kids in danger with a faulty car. Now it's gotten to the point where this won't be getting fixed unless there's legal action involved. Thankfully for us, the Attorney's we've talked with after hearing this case offered to take this case on free of charge.

RecluseGamer3Bought an '03 Dodge 1500, some cosmetic damage but otherwise in good shape. 2 days after I picked it up the check engine light came on. I gave Rocky's a call and Joel was happy to help me, they apologized for the issue, and made it right with free repair and troubleshooting. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends for their next used car/truck. EDIT JAN2016: I would however stay on top of their admistrative department when it comes to getting your vehicle registered. They waited until 4 days before my temp tags expired to do so. I had to make a 2 hour round trip to pick them up from their "Corporate Office" because shipping them would take too long. Edited to 3 stars because I had to waste time and gas.

Jeremy Placencia1I had financed a car from them and the car was running fine for awhile. Summer started and i went to turn on the a/c and it did not work! Also when i took the car in to my mechanic he told md they sold me a flood car! There is rust everywhere! The engine is completely rusted the undercarriage and suspension is rusted badly. The car is falling apart. I was told i had a 15,000 mile warranty went in to schedule a fix for the engine and a bad jump in the transmission they told me it was a 10,000 mile warranty. I feel scammed!

Maxamilliano Jinzo5This was by far the easiest experience to buy a car! Justin consulted with me in what i wanted and needed in a vehicle not once was he a pushy car sales person. We looked around the lot till I found a car I really loved to my surprise after picking the car the process only took about 40 minutes and I was on my way. Very clean lot very nice selection I'd recommend to any buyer looking to get into a car truck or suv to check out rocky auto credit on alma school and ask for justin hell help you from start to finish

Mimi Renee1If I could give no stars I would. They've made my first car experience a nightmare. Sold me a car with motor mounts going out. To the point I've got to pay 1200 to fix or my motor goes out. Got in a fender bender and my car got towed. They took my car from the yard WITHOUT notifying me and now gave me 3 days to get my car back by paying 318. What fresh hell is this. I've never been late on payments. Didn't complain about them selling me a car with 2 dry rotted tires (they popped the 3 day I had the car). Just save yourself the head ache. They are financed through cactus jacks and they're no better with customer service. They're nice until your on the payment plan. Then they throw non sense at you. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!

James Francis1Drove 3 hours to check out a vehicle at Rocky's Mesa location. I couldn't test drive the vehicle I was interested in because they let their mechanic take their only dealer plate home. They said I could "take it for a buzz around the parking lot." Then they said (knowing I drove three hours) that I could come back tomorrow. (Strike one). I had a coupon from their website that they wouldn't honor because the vehicle was "wholesale." (Strike two). Finally when talking numbers I asked if they would take $93 off (to make it an even number) and give me a tank of gas. They refused. (Strike three). Justin (the manager) said the owner gave him specific instructions not to negotiate on the vehicle. I was ready to drive it off the lot, and they lost a sale over $93 and a tank of gas. Won't go back again. Will not recommend. Will report to USAA. The vehicle was nice, but the dealer was awful.

Jerry McGowan1The website did not list any prices so I initially didn’t consider Rocky’s in my search for a vehicle. I live close to the dealership and decided to stop. After walking for a short while, a guy asked if he could help. No introduction. No handshake. Just a call out from about 25 feet away. When I told him specifically what I was looking for, he pointed to the far end of the lot. He was much more concerned with jumping a car battery than helping a potential customer. I took my time looking at the vehicles. He didn’t bother to follow up with me. That should have been my 2nd sign to steer clear of this place. The 1st reason was finding no prices on the website. A couple days later I was looking at the website and chat window popped up asking if I needed help. The person I chatted with could not answer any of my questions so my contact information was forwarded to someone who could. No return call, email or text. Reason #4 to look elsewhere. I decided to call to talk to a real person. I talked to Justin. He seemed annoyed that I requested CarFaxes on three vehicles. 3!!!! How dare I make such a request! Reason #5. He said he would email the information. He didn’t. Reason #6. So it is obvious Rocky’s is doing so much business that they don’t need my money.
