      I've been with R1CU for many many years. I would recommend this bank to anyone. The only downside is their lack of ATM's.

      The Carrollton branch does not have a phone number posted it took me days to find the number on their website and when I called 10 minutes after opening I was hit with a 36 minute wait time! I live in little elm I can’t just drive to Carrollton anytime I have an issue with my account which I have a lot of with resource one

      For Auto Loans - Resource One charges their own insurance fee of $90+ per month unless you provide the exact documentation from your own insurance company proving they are the payee. I've spent 10-20 hours sharing various documents, working with my insurance agent to try to get exactly what they need, and trying to get them to refund the unnecessary double insurance. Never had this required from any loan or CU. Not worth the time - would go with another lender had I known this was a requirement.

All auto loans are required to have full coverage insurance, noting Resource One as the lienholder and the borrower as the insurance holder. If coverage is not provided from an external insurance provider with this information, we will add collateral insurance protection to cover the loan collateral, that way if something happens to the vehicle the loan holder is not out the full amount of the loan. This coverage is easily removed from the loan once proof of insurance with the required details is provided. If you need more assistance please reach out and have a great day.

      Bummed how bad the lines are lately. I wish the lobby was re opened. I pre fill out my deposit slips to go sit in a line for 30+ minutes.

      Awful customer service. I went into the bank in attempt to get a new debt it card. The machine was not working. The teller could not tell me when it would be fixed or repaired and was unconcerned and did not offer any help. I tried to call the next day to see if it was repaired and after waiting on hold for more than 30 mins I was told that they could not give me the direct telephone line to the Carrolton branch. Worthless service on both ends.

      I so much appreciate the courteous, friendly, prompt, helpful service I receive at this credit union every time I visit. I'm not a member, rather I use their shared service to bank with another credit union which is some distance away. But for their willingness to participate in shared services, I'd have to either mail checks to my credit union with the corresponding delays in being able to access money or drive 70 miles round trip during very limited hours (open only 4 hours daily) to make direct deposits. I can't believe the staff could be more attentive to my needs if I were a member of this credit union. If I close my account at my current credit union, rest assured Resource One Credit Union on Hebron would be my choice to receive my business.

      Rarely do I leave reviews, but I felt the need to leave a review for Anitra Johnson who works at this branch. She was amazing to work with!! Very smart, fast and passionate about helping me. I applied for my auto loan and received an amazing APR rate. She was very understanding of the small turn around time that I had to finance my car and made sure to everything was accurate and completed timely. I definitely recommend anyone to this branch!

      I've been a member for 8 years, had two auto loans and a few personal loans. I had a late payment on my auto loan due to mistakenly using a closed account. Not only did they refuse to take it off my credit report but they said they aren't responsible for notifying me! Usually I check my online banking but this one slipped by. This will most likely keep me from being able to buy a house in December. I even went in and talked to a manager. I pay high interest rates and can't get a break. So much for the small friendly neighborhood CUs, I'll take my business to the big banks next time.

      I will drive far to go to this credit union. They are always courteous and quick. I have to do shared branch transactions here, and it’s always easy. Their great customer service makes me join their credit union! I’ll be doing that right away!

      I have been with resource one for 6 years and I have never had a problem when it came to putting money into my bank account however resource one offers auto loans and other services to their customers. Recently I tried to get a auto loan with resource one and at first I was told I was denied by the assisted branch manager Pricilla.I had to basically ask 21 questions to figure out exactly why my application was denied. 1 hour after that I was called by one of the branch members and told that something was overlooked. Pricilla got back on the phone and apologized and told me the details of my approval. I thought everything was taken care of. Little did I know that was not the last mistake they were going to make when it came to my auto loan. Long story short I ended up getting financed from my dealership because of lack of knowledge and communication from my loan officer at resource one. When I contacted the branch manager Myra she was very rude and couldn't admit or apologize that her branch members dropped the ball. As a branch manager she couldn't give me any solutions and this was very disappointing being I have been a member for 6 years. Just a warning Resource one is excellent and taking your money however they are terrible when it come to anything else they offer there to members.
