This is the absolute WORST Credit Union ever. My family as been members for over 20 years. When the name of the credit union was Employee's Credit Union it was the best credit union. Customer service was excellent. Employees were very helpful. Ever since they changed their name to RelyOn, customer service has gone down, especially in the last 2 years. I have had one problem after the other. Customer service is very important to me, especially when you charge me $7.00 per month per account service fee for nothing. I never paid a service charge to Employee's Credit Union. Save yourself lots of trouble and look elsewhere for your banking needs.

This credit union is extremely unprofessional. The woman Cynthia I spoke with was very rude. Don't hire people that don't have the decency to have a little customer service etiquette. Stay far from this credit union. They will hold your money for ransom. If I could give no stars I would. What a joke.

Long term member for 20 years starting when it was Employees Credit Union. I think their leadership has done a good job in navigating through the change over to RelyOn Credit Union. There were some ups and downs initially with the transition but their management worked hard to level those out. Will continue to do business here as long as I have the same positive experience.

I was able to get a super low APR on a slightly used car, and multiple low interest secured loans as well! I have both a checking and savings account, credit card with a great rate compared to others, and have been through multiple loans. I haven't needed a loan since they’ve changed their name. I have, however, needed to contact them a couple of times (always get a live person!) for them to complete an action for something I had already called and asked them to do. Minor inconvenience for me, but for someone not as diligent, it could have been a bigger nuisance. I think they are a great CU to do business with! Update: The RelyOn iOS app is hit or miss, and half the time I get a “bad request” or another error that doesn’t allow me to login to my accounts (on the plus side, when you are able to login, it has all your accounts in 1 place). On another note, I have requested compatibility with financial apps, such as Personal Capital, and the requests have gone unheard it seems. For these 2 reasons I am changing my rating from 4 stars to 3.

Long time member, since introduced at CLR FastTax. Great service, professionalism all the way. Charlie was always so pleasant and helpful. I WOULD like to see international transfer, after all, this is 2020, and we do have a worldwide marketplace nowadays.

I've been a member for 3yrs or so and it seems like everytime I call either in the morning, mid day or early afternoon someone either on lunch a break or they just don't pick up the phone. The only lady that's truly helped is an older lady named Mary in the Dallas branch she's awesome.

      Response from the owner

Hi Moi, we're sorry to hear that you've had issues with getting in contact with a RelyOn representative. Please email me at [email protected] and provide me with your contact information. I'd love to have a Branch Manager reach out to you personally to discuss the matter. Thank you!

I learned today that this institution sent out new debit cards that were already activated and did nothing to notify the customers. I spoke with the President today and told her my concern, her exact response, " What do you want me to do?" With credit card fraud and identity theft at an all-time high, I was flabbergasted at this response.

      Response from the owner

Hi Evelyn, I apologize for the issues you've encountered with the credit union in the past. We are under new leadership and have made a lot of changes to the credit union, both externally and internally, to ensure that we are always doing the right thing for our members. We would love for you to come back to the credit union and give RelyOn a chance. If you need anything, please feel free to email me at [email protected].

Do yourself a favor....do NOT do business with this credit union. You are just another # with them and their values have seriously changed since they changed their name. I am doing everything in my power to be done with them!

      Response from the owner

Hi Jamie, I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't had the best experience with us. I'd love to get your information so I can have our CEO contact you and discuss your experience so we can make it right. Please send me an email at [email protected] with your best contact information so we can help you resolve this issue. Thank you!

I have been trying to pay my Loan for the last TWO weeks since I’m out of town for business and their application and website keeps saying “ERROR”. I have called and they always give me misleading instructions in what to do, I have already called three times in a row. It shouldn’t be that hard to make a loan payment!!!!! This is making my payment LATE
