  I had the pleasure of working with Stearns through Shabbir Panni and Charlotte Washburn, they helped me through this tedious process of buying a home after we sold our house and they did a great job of getting me a good interest rate without buying points and also got my appraisal credit because of some circumstances in the process. I like their app too which is way easier and faster to transfer data and get us informed in the process, Terri White, the underwriter was great in communicating what documents I need to submit so we can get the process going faster. It’s a great lending company that I recently worked with.

  In addition to being professional and knowledgeable, Alan Martin and Stearns’ staff were able to fund our loan in a very short timeframe after another lender presented nothing but roadblocks. In addition, Susan Briggs was wonderfully responsive and empathetic throughout the process!

  Charline answered my calls, texts and voicemails promptly with thorough answers. When she felt it needed a voice explanation instead of a brief email/text answer she was not afraid to pick up the phone to call to ensure I understood whatever crazy question I had, and there were a lot! She dealt with my weekend calls and texts, helped all along the way. This was my 2nd home purchase and I refinanced, 2 different lenders, Charline was so refreshing to work with. I’ve never encountered someone so delightful! Hands down best lender ever, if you need a lender and you don’t use Charline Clark you truly missed out.... I’ll never work with any other lender until she retires!

  I wouldn't go threw Laurie Schuler if you want good customer service I found her to be very unprofessional if the loan had not gone threw and the owners of the house didn't already sign I would have pulled my loan and went with slico like we should have from the beginning the loan process is hard enough you want someone welling to take the time to answer your questions
