Heather M1Today I had an unpleasant experience at Quantum Credit Union. An organization that I have banked with since they were TECU (Telephone Employee Credit Union) when I began working at SBC in 2001. I came in with a check and was told due to the large amount it would require a hold, if I needed money today they would need to verify. I said I understood, I won’t need access to the funds anytime soon a hold is fine. Her neighboring teller then looked around the divider at me, and looked me up and down. After looking at me- She said no we will have to verify the check and told the tell not to call the number on the check to verify it, look it up. Then she said sit over there while we do that. I politely asked for my check back. I am disappointed that I experienced this type of bias at your organization- whether it be conscious or unconscious. I believe I was a victim of discrimination based on how I look the skin I live in. I have held an account at your organization for 21 years, not to mention accounts for each of my children for over 10+ years. I am reevaluating my relationship with Quantum. Your organization needs to invest in training for biases and diversity.

Angie Leach1It's really too bad equishare merged with them. I loved equishare. I've had NUMEROUS issues with quantum bank. They are awful. I get my check direct deposited and have to wait 5 days for it to clear? Ridiculous

Jason Beyer5I've been banking with them since I opened a savings account in Kindergarten (late 1980s) and my late mother was a member most of her life. Always have had great experiences, and service. It's much more like a small town bank as they know you and your cars. I've had charges held/flagged as they were for something I wouldn't usually buy, and they gave me a call. It's hard to find that type of service! Just got a new used auto loan and the rate was fantastic.

jeff helm1Just be careful and read the fine print. I completed my loan payments and decided to leave my savings with them so it would be easier the next time I bought a car. What I just found out is that after a year of no activity they deduct money each month after that until you have activity. Dormant Account Fee. I called them today and they refused to do anything to make it right so I cancelled my account.

Jennifer Walker - Walker Sales5I have been a member for over 25 years. TECU/Quantum has always taken very good care of me and my family. We have all our loans, accounts, and mortgages with Quantum. They know us by voice when we call in and are always super speedy in taking care of needs or answering questions. Special shout out to Sandra and Michele!

D Baker1I have repeatedly tried to get this credit union to stop allowing unauthorized payments to Paypal. I am suppose to be getting a refund but instead PayPal keeps taking out of my account and not putting in the refund. I have several fees now because I cannot get PayPal to stop and the credit union because they are getting $30 a pop in fees will not block them or freeze my account. They have my car loan which they are making money on for years and I need them to protect me and they refuse too. All I can do is cancel my account and move my car loan somewhere else to protect myself. You are better off with a bank, credit unions are not there for the customers and have more fees than any bank I have ever dealt with.

Mandy Reece5I've been a member for many years and today was the first day I had a problem. I'm impressed that someone took the time to call me and review my issue. She was able to explain and help me with what I needed. I'm happy that when things went wrong they went out of their way to make it right. I live in Derby. The bank is inconveniently located for me but well worth it. I don't ever write reviews but I'm impressed with the professiolism that was shown today.

Erica Miner1If your looking for a credit union, pick anyone but this one! Horrible customer service and they steal from your account and do what they want with your money! Not ok! Chose to move all my accounts and still dealing with the aftermath!

Katie French3Edit: My biggest concern was that I have been a customer for a long time and had something abnormal in my life that affected my account, and no one seemed to care. Being proud of the customer service they provide and not showing it to me was a disappointment. However, today a member of the staff reached out to me and apologized for failing my expectations and asked what they could do and offered choices. That is all I wanted when I went in to the branch location. To not be a number. Thank you Michelle

William Brown1They’re not very small business friendly. They don’t offer business loans or business credit cards. Quantum pulls your personal credit (trans union) to open a business account, that offers nothing. Totally useless, in my opinion.
