Proctor Federal Credit Union Reviews

Joe Cobb1Everytime i go to check my balance online there is a different reason as to why i'm not allowed to. From constant site maintenance to them not renewing their website certification. Overall terrible service. Edit: Still using this bank its been at least 5 months plus since my original review. They have done nothing to improve their service don't get me wrong the staff are super nice and professional it is the only reason i use them still. But the actual service as a bank is absolutely terrible. The online service is their biggest issue if you are even allowed to get to your online banking page the updates to your accounts can take actual days on a desktop or your phone. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else the big shots at this bank are gross.
Response from the ownerJoe – We are very sorry for the inconvenience and that this has been your experience. We have been working with our host to get any and all ongoing issues resolved. The certificate has been fixed and our online banking is working. Please give us a call with any other issues we can help with. 218-624-5761. Thank you.

scott1Just tried to cash a US treasury check (from my tax return) at Proctor Federal Credit Union Denfeld office. I was told “the check cannot be verified and will need a 10 day hold” .....really? A treasury check?! I went to members co-op to cash it and they did it no problem without question. In fact they laughed when I told them what I was told at PFCU. This similar situation has happened on different occasions a few times as well as many other issues. I opened up a checking account today at members and will no longer be banking through PFCU after 12 years there.

Jacob Johnson1Worst bank by far take money from you when you dont even have overdraft on and vary rude lady when you try to figure it out. DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!!!!!!!
Response from the ownerHi Jacob – Thank you for reaching out to us yesterday with your concern. As we tried to explain, unfortunately, NSF fees are always charged for items that are returned due to a lack of funds when you set them up via ACH (regardless whether you have courtesy pay set up or not). ACH is the automatic clearing house. It happens with institutions you have given the routing number and your account number to – often times used for credit card payments, utility bills, etc. If you have not set up courtesy pay, we have not charged you for non-sufficient funds transactions on your debit card – only automatic payments trying to clear your account. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Thanks, PFCU

Jesse M4Should have the proper times on the website like the drive-thru is the only thing open and the morning so from 7:30 until 9
Response from the ownerHi Jesse - We are very sorry this was an inconvenience to you! I believe you are talking about the hours on the google site. Unfortunately, Google does not allow us to have two separate hours posted (drive-thru hours and separate lobby hours) at this time. Please visit our website (www.proctorfcu.com - Locations & Hours) for our detailed open hours. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience this caused you.
