  Matt was one of the most competent professionals on our closing team. He knew the ins and outs of the conventional loan and made us aware of issues with our offer early in the process. His market insights and awareness ensured we locked our loan at the right time to receive the lowest possible loan rate. We had a lot of questions about the loan process and specifics of the closing disclosure sheet; Matt took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions and explain the costs associated.

  I really can't say enough great things about Matt and his team! They made what I expected to be a stressful mortgage process feel easy and they were always extremely responsive and gave great advice along the way. Matt was even able to walk me through getting some things that should not have been affecting my credit removed so I saw an increase in credit score and decrease in interest rate quickly. I was also really impressed that he came to a very early morning closing in case any questions came up. I have already recommended him to several friends and will definitely continue to do so.

  If your situation is normal, I’m told Matt Hodges is great. If you work nights and sleep during the day and have challenges, don’t use Matt. We were told by our realtor that it was better/easier working with a local guy. Matt was referred by our realtor. Our first loan officer who is out of state back home was willing to take information by text. This frustrated Matt. He talked a big talk initially, but did not follow our directions and did not get the job done.

  If you're looking for the personal attention and care that should come from a mortgage lender, please consider Matt and his team. After considering some of the bigger name online lenders, we fielded phone calls from several agents but never felt that we they had our best interest at heart. Matt was always thorough and prompt in his communications with us - we had many questions, but were guided through the entire process with ease.

  Matt Hodges was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He held our hands through our first home purchase and gave a level of personal service that would have been hard to match had we gone with an online lender. I believe we got the best terms possible at the time regardless of the lender.
