  I worked with Buster Fox at C&F Mortgage on my latest home purchase. The process was incredibly easy and stress free, even despite extremely difficult economic and social circumstances. My prior lender experience was disengaged, very inaccessible, and slow response times. Buster was always quick to respond and actively made things happen to bring the process together throughout, never hesitating to be available outside normal business hours. He went the extra mile to insure I understood the process, kept me updated regularly, and always acted in my best interest. I highly recommend anyone looking for lender assistance to contact C&F Mortgage, they will treat you like family!

  My wife and I spent many months researching and looking for our new home in the fast-paced Charlottesville housing market. We had done it once before and the most 'painful' part of the process during our first was dealing with the lender...slow to respond, not engaged in the process, and it was riddled with delays even though we came prepared. I knew we had to find a new lender for our 'forever home' purchase because I did not want to relive the last time. We decided to work with C&F Mortgage after having an initial conversation around our goals for our new home...and the entire process was seamless. We worked with Buster Fox to develop a plan and he made sure we understood each step and ask along the way. It was never something I had to worry about during our house hunt. Buster kept in touch and we never had to follow up to keep things moving. The loan ended up being the most stress-free part of the process and we would recommend C&F Mortgage and Buster Fox to anyone!

  As a first-time home-buyer, I wanted to truly understand the process. Buster Fox engaged with me - answering questions, brainstorming creative solutions, and advising the tougher decisions (even on weekends and at odd hours).   Fantastic dealings with Buster Fox, Bill Hamrick the extended team at C&F Mortgage. Simplest Refinance process I've been apart of, and I've done a few refis. Attentive, very responsive and timely, concise and easy to follow instructions, all while dealing with the pandemic/Covid-19 remotely. I'll use them again, and gladly recommend friends to do the same.
