  After getting audited by the IRS after using Turbo Tax we vowed to only use a trusted CPA. We have seen Chris Porter for 2 years now and want to say how amazing he is. We always stress tax season and fear the worst about possibly owing the IRS but we have Chris to thank for giving us the most return possible. It should be without saying, we will be back.   Chris Porter has done our taxes (both business and personal) for the last few years and has done an excellent job for us. He's extremely professional and knowledgeable of the tax laws. He was also able to amend a return from a few ago that a different accountant had prepared for us and was able to find some errors/omissions and get us a substantial refund that our prior accountant missed. I highly recommend Chris and the Porter Kinney team!

  This is the second year we've had Porter Kinney do our taxes and we're super happy with them. They helped us get certain tax credits that we wouldn't have known we were eligible for otherwise, so the money spent was a no-brainer. They answered all my questions and were helpful throughout the whole process.

  We started a small business last year and were referred to PorterKinney by our real estate agent Kirk Catt. It has turned out to be one of the best decisions we have made this year. Christ Porter, one of the owners has been an excellent resource for how to get through these turbulent pandemic times. Brandon Bush is the CPA who has been working with us on our tax returns. HE IS A GENIUS!!! I can't say enough about how smart he is and how well he understands how to do taxes. Travis Smith works with us on our Payroll and he is solid! We haven't had any mistakes and he is always on top of it and if something is amiss he contacts us really early so we can get the right paperwork in on time for our employees to be paid. Thanks PorterKinney. You truly are a gem in Tri Cities.

  My experience with PorterKinney was great! They filed my tax return promptly and they were very polite about it. This is the first time I have used an accounting firm to file my return and I was wondering if the process would go smoothly since I live in a different state, but I was given Walter Kinney as a referral and I am very glad I used them. My tax return was much bigger (and more accurate) than when I tried to file with TurboTax. I plan on using PorterKinney again!
