  The Hawk shop is one of the best pawn shops in the Seacoast area. I've been going there for a few years now, the guys work with you the best they can. I got more then what I expected on a loan. I've never had problems with them. I have no complaints. They've helped me out when I was in a tough spot. I highly recommend them and I will continue to do bussiness with them.

  Went to another shop with some scrap gold n silver. Decided to go and check portcity. As i had already done my homework..unbeknownst to first place i went to lol .Staff was absolutely nice and took my own personal habit of making everything i do awkward and ran with it lmao... gave me top dollar. And will forever more have utmost respect for the way they do buisness. Thank you Port city! 👍👍👍

  We run a small online and brick and mortar shop out of Union St. Antiques in Rochester. Allan has always been helpful and straight forward with us in our dealings. He researches the item to insure we are getting a fair price either in buying or selling to him. If he does not know about an item he will help you find out who does. On one occasion. my wife's ring needed to be resized and we asked a finding a reasonable gold smith to adjust it. Allan took a look at it and used his ring sizer to get a larger size without charging us. He works with the smaller dealers such as us, and he is a valuable resource to novice collectors and those looking for that to find coin. I've sent my son in law to him for guidance on buying engagement and wedding rings, this saved them a huge amount of money. In all I value him as a good business friend and associate. Oh' hit him up for the chocolates at Christmas, that way I don't eat them all!

  All the staff are fantastic!! They provide great customer service and explain all details regarding gold and silver. I HIGHLY recommend them. Allan especially, is great. I recently had to exchange a large amount of coins and precious metals on behalf of my elderly parents. I was very worried about the process and the thought of not getting a fair deal, and hence, my parents losing out. The last thing that I wanted to do was go to some shady pawn shop and hope for the best. That wasn't the feeling at all at Port City Coin and Jewelry It sits in the middle of a clean strip mall and feels very safe. Prior to arrival, Allen instructed me to peak my head in so that he could come out to the car and help bring the items in. I did so and not only did he help transport a lot of boxes and buckets in, which definitely made me feel better carrying thousands of dollars worth of my parents' legacy. I was led into a very secure, yet un-intimidating room. Allan took his time, was very thorough and accommodating. With over 25 years of collecting, the variety of denominations, purity, types, etc. was pretty overwhelming. Again, Allan took his time and explained everything as we went along, as well as offered plenty of good advice on which items that they (parents) may actually want to hold onto. Sorry for the long review, but I can't stress how much better I felt about everything after Allans help and knowledge. Once Again Thanks PORT CITY COIN & JEWLERY
