  My gold rope chain got ripped by my dog came here to get it repaired only cost 40$ which is pretty good got it fixed in 2 days in a half really great place very friendly and great customer service I recommend this place :)

  One of the best pawn shops I’ve ever been too. Been doing business there for years. They have a great variety of products to buy and it isn’t junk like most pawn shops. It’s very well organized. The employees are friendly and professional. As for pawning items, they always give me a fair price. I highly recommend.

  This pawn shop is a one of a kind. An upscale experience with superb staff, building, hours, and environment. All the staff is professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They strive to meet a customer's needs. I've dealt with jewelers, and pawnbrokers in the past but never like these guys. They are so personable you can't help but develop a repoire. I dealt with Patrick during a crisis and he dropped everything and gave me his full attention. The other staff was supportive. I would recommend this shop without reservation. To buy, sell, or pawn. The items they sell are also of excellent quality. Consider me IMPRESSED! And THANK YOU PATRICK!

  We began doing business with Poplar a while back. We purchase our jewelry & other items from there a lot! The Men & Women that work here are AMAZING! The Customer Service alone is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 & it is so appreciated. We have had to use them when times were a bit tight to make ends meet and they were very kind to us bc we were both upset that we had to see them for this reason.   I come here alot. These guys are really nice that work here. Very fast service. Great deals and are willing to work with you! Great selection of items.Alot of beautiful jewelry. Have gotten many of pieces from them. The electronics are always priced fairly and in great condition. Ive bought ipads,laptops,xbox,psp,etc still have all of them in great condition.

  I will not deal with any other shop. I am truly surprised to see the 2 negative responses, poplar pawn has always did right by me. It makes me wonder about what these folks expected from poplar pawn. Well I guess I will never know. My experience is expressed through the 5 🌟's I just clicked on.

  I have been doing business on and off with popular pawn for the last 17 years give or take they have really good electronics section a very fine wide selection of jewelry and the employees are very knowledgeable helpful and will try to get the money that you need they are very reasonable prices Layaway options great for the holidays this is the best pawnshop in the Baltimore area if you’re looking to get top dollar for your jewelry or any other valuable items and they will work with you if you are having hard times thanks popular

  Clean store, neatly attired staff, bright lighting, plenty to look at while waiting for them to estimate the value of your "for sale" gold/jewelry. I was told what I was being given for each piece I sold, and why. There's nothing "sleazy" about Poplar Pawn... I highly recommend them as both a buyer of gold and a bargain jewelry store. Update: 5 years later In recent years I have continued to use Poplar when I want to sell scrap/broken jewelry, have had them set stones and repair broken jewelry, and have purchased electronics and diamond jewelry, and feel I am always treated fairly. The Dundalk store is a little more crowded and usually very busy, but offers an interesting an eclectic variety of non-jewelry items as well.

  Went here to sell my wife ring only because she wanted one @ jarred but jarred doesnt take trade in toward purchase of upgrade from them unless the ring came from them. We are into the current ring @ $1800 i heard poplar gave 85% value of what you paid for it they offered me $150 for it diamond ring with halo and band. I sold them a 10k jesus pendant necklace for $950 which i paid $1100 for it which wasn't bad then a diamond ring got low balled
