  These guys are great. I have been buying things for a long time here and they always offer a fair price and get new inventory pretty frequently. Customer service is top notch and I honestly stop in to say hello nearly as much as I do to see what they've got in stock.

  I have used P.J & L many times for the past 6+ years for loans. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A 100 STAR RATING I WOULD. Everyone is always pleasant. AND THEY ARE VERY FAIR and KIND and JUST AWESOME. I have dealt with other loan places and by far PJ&L IS THE BEST. It would be worth you time and travel to come here. I haven't even told you about all they have done for me to make my transaction go well for me. I will say this when Covid first hit they gave back and only made me pay the cost of my loan and not the interest fee. THANK YOU PJ&L. #100stars.

  By far the best pawn shop in Maryland period!!!! Jim and the staff are the best. They treat you like you are a guest and welcome you. Most pawn shops have the wrong attitude and seem annoyed when you enter their shop. This establishment is by far the best in Maryland. Low interest loan on my Rolex is a HUGE plus. Other pawns shops charge $250 interest on every thousand. Not at Poplar, I was charged ONLY around $350 interest on a $5500 loan!!!! That makes it much easier for me to get my watch back. At any other shop I would have paid almost $1400 in just interest making it almost impossible to get my item back. Most places feed on your desperation for funds and exploit the fact that you are I need of funds. This shop is actually here to help you out. They understand that having repeat customers is better than taking advantage of people who are already financially unstable at the moment. GREAT JOB POPLAR PAWN AND JEWELRY. Also I read the review of the guest which was late paying on his loan and stated that his item was gone when he came back. I can say that has to be false. I purposely was late picking up but within the grace period. I called the day my payment was due and asked if I could stop in a week and pay for item in full. The staff member who answered the phone stated to me that I have 10 day grace period. I came about 6 days after the initial 30 day loan period and had NO ISSUE picking up my item. I was not charged extra or had any issue whatsoever and that was on Rolex watch. THIS IS A HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT!!!! I have no affiliation with this establishment.   I was very happy to find this store to fix all my jewelry. Their attention to detail is absolutely amazing. Professional work. Recently fixed my Dad’s old Rolex watch and it was done. I couldn’t believe my eyes.Look for Mike when u are in the shop. He is great. I will recommend them to anyone l know. Best service. Friendly staffs.

  Excellent staff !! They say hello the minute you walk in I like these guys, very professional and freundly, treT you with respect. I would recommend this place to anyone Does not even feel like a pawnshop. Ita more like a jewelry store with cool gear in tge back 5 STARS EASY :-)

  Was looking for a men ring. 1st day, good selections, Chad assisted me, but I was only looking around. 2nd visit, he remembered me & delivered the same great service. Which led me to make my purchase. Thanks because I was leary on buying pawn shop jewelry.

  Just had the best experience with Mark! Even though I communicated that I was looking for a gag gift and not wanting to spend a lot of money, he treated me like a baller. He was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. This was the first time I purchased at a pawn shop and I think I will be coming back (but only if mark is there).
