Update: When I tried the PNC branch on the part of Bay Area close to Texas Ave, it was a whole different world. I found out that some of the info from the other branch, that had caused significant stress, was simply incorrect. Make THAT your branch if you can =========================================================== I am pretty sure that the only banker present today was their manager. She has the office in the corner (left when facing it). She had no interest in keeping me as a customer, when I went with some simple questions about the change-over to PNC from BBVA. Treated me like a child who had not done my ASSIGNMENT soon enough (making the changes to direct deposits, etc).

Horrible online banking customer service… This transition from BBVA to PNC has been a NIGHTMARE for your customers! Very poor business acumen used when making this merger. Customer’s, literally paying customers like myself , suffer from it… Extremely annoying and inconvenient

Bay area blvd location in clear lake does not provide contactless banking. I was in the drive through and ccx was told I had to come in the lobby to cash my paycheck. After handing over every I'd I had and waited 10 mins they are wanted to charge me 10 dollars a check to cash. There new policy is charging 10 a check to cash and no contactless banking for non bbva customers.

If I could give negative stars for this bank I would. So I’m giving the lowest rating I can possible. I’m going to share my 4 encounters with this BBVA bank. I’ve never been to a bank that is so unprofessional. First visit: I went to cash a BBVA check. I do not hold an account with them. I went through the drive-thru and was told since I do not bank with them I had to go inside. Understandable, each bank has their policies. I drove around, parked and went in. They asked for 2 forms of ID... odd. But I did not argue and handed over my driver’s license and license to carry. They cashed my check and I was on my way. Second visit: This time I parked and went in to cash my BBVA check. Again, I used my drivers license and license to carry. No issue. I was told there was a $10 fee since I do not bank with them and it is “an inconvenience”. Um, rude. I explained I was not told previously about a fee. They tried to argue it and ended up waiving it this time and warned me that the next time there would be $10 to cash my check. Third visit: Once again, I parked and walked in to cash my BBVA check wind with my drivers license and license to carry and was immediately told, “you could have gone through the drive-thru”. I explained that I was told I could not since I do not bank with them. They said that was not true. Now I’m confused. I paid my ridiculous $10 fee and went on my way. Fourth visit: This time I went through the drive-thru, I politely said good morning. I placed my BBVA check along with the same drivers license and license to carry in the bin. The lady then asked for 2 forms of ID. I explained there were, she said they were the same. I explained they were not the same, one is a drivers license and the other a license to carry. Then she asked for my debit card. I told her no, those ID’s were accepted the past 3 times I’ve been here. She put us on mute, asked her coworker about it, the coworker said something and shook her head in annoyance. The lady came back on and proceeded to say “well it’s a $10 fee” I told her “it’s fine”. She took her time cashing my check. She came back to return my stuff. Then rudely says “next time we won’t accept those ID’s. We need a debit card as a form of ID. I told her “no, I am not giving y’all my debit card. I am not comfortable with that. I used my license to carry and drivers license before and that is what I will continue to use. Y’all should have been clear on that on my past 3 visits” she continued to argue and I drove off mid-conversation in frustration. As a pregnant healthcare worker in a time of crisis, I find it ridiculous to have to put up with such attitude and inconvenience. I have never gone through this with any other bank. I understand I do not bank with BBVA, but I do not have a BBVA bank near where I live and will not open an account for “their convenience”. This BBVA bank on Bay Area Blvd in the Houston/Webster area is the worst bank I have ever encountered. I hope my experiences share the frustration that I’m sure other customers are going through.

Recently signed up for a credit card with one of there promotional offers. Went in to educate my self about my new card and activate it. Service was very rude and wouldn’t listen to what I was saying. Was considering using them as my bank as well but after visiting this location I definitely won’t.

Horrible customer service. Still on hold after 1.5 hours trying to set up online payments for a new car loan. I am actively looking for someone else to service this loan as this is the WORST experience ever.

Closed my account and wasn't given correct information. Needs better customer service as far as management. Bankers are nice.
