PNC Bank Reviews

Taylor Meek5Went in today to complete a wire transfer. The personal banker that helped us, his name was Matt, was very helpful and friendly. Another banker assisted with the appointment check in process and was in and out in less than 1/2 hour. Thanks PNC!

Amy Cooper1PNC is by far the best he most horrible to bank with. I opened an account at the New Albany Branch when I moved back to the area in 2019. I was told by the Lady who I dealt with small but important things such as free counter checks if needed, no charge for cashier checks. If ever overdraft fees would be added they give you days even up to a week to make right before charging the crazy fees... or she suggested stopping in and she would clear any. All a bunch of lies apparently. This location as well as many have since shut down. $10 for a cashier check. $1.50 for a counter check... not many people use checks anymore however every now and then one might be needed. Their ATM is one that could definitely use and update. Looks like one of the first ever created. Could not deposit cash at this location for over a week, wouldn’t take the money... should never be down that long without someone noticing within the company and having repaired. I’ve never banked at such a bank... reason I will be moving to the new Bank Of America location directly down Hamilton Rd from PNC.

Heather Griesheimer1I cannot stand this bank. This is the least helpful bank we have ever tried to use. We have a business account with them and needed a lien waiver notarized to send in with a large invoice so that we could get paid. PNC said they cannot notarized it because it is "tied to a piece of real estate" and suggested we go to a UPS store! The UPS store did not have a notary.

OwenW 88412Horrible service. PNC service has gone downhill. I miss Andreas. He was great!! They closed the branch on New Albany Rd West. That was a big mistake. The people are not friendly or care about you as a customer. They act as though you are imposing.

Rick Haller1Drive through has two lanes. One is closed. I am eight cars deep. Whoever is inside, is taking their sweet time. Been sitting for 25 minutes already - 3 customers serviced. About 8 minutes per customer. What happened to service with a smile? It's no longer there. Stores. Even banks!

Lexi Dixie1They refused to allow me to make a cash withdraw with my valid drivers license. I even provided a social security card and was told they were not valid forms of ID. In all my years with PNC I have never been so upset. Not to mention none of the drive through lights were on and the bank looked closed. I was told by corporate that my valid drivers license was more than appropriate to make a withdraw. I will be closing all PNC accounts after this encounter. I have traveled the country and have never been treated so poorly at a bank. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

felicia Reaves5I had the opportunity to meet with Courtney and let me just say she is the most knowledgeable banker I have ever sat with. She was able to answer all of my questions and go over products I didn't even know banks offered. I can definitely see her moving up and running her own branch someday. She's a very valuable asset to your branch and makes the difference this location needs. If you need anything make sure to ask for her.

Brenda Carsey, RE/MAX Revealty Agent1Obviously this branch doesn't know what "service" in customer service means. Very disappointed.
