  Completely clueless, I’m glad I don’t have an account here. Just went to cash a check and was told I needed the other persons signature so I got that and returned only to be told they still wouldn’t cash it unless the other person was there and I needed a stamp from car leasing company…fine if that’s the policy but don’t give misinformation and waste everyone’s time.

  Extremely poor customer service. Lack of staff. Long lines inside branch. Unable to withdraw funds!!! PNC had plenty of time to prepare for takeover of BBVA bank where my wife and I had a checking account for years. This bank is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Potential customers stay Away and avoid this bank at all costs!!!! Just been notified by this outrageous bank that I am one dollar overdrawn and that if I don’t have my account up to date by tomorrow I will be charged an overdraft fee of $38. This bank is the worst!!!!! Greedy and lack of caring about customers!! Potential customers stay Away from this institution!!

  First, my comments are not directed at any particular branch but the bank itself. This is the worst clown show of a banking organization I've ever dealt with, forced upon me by the merger with BBVA. Customer service is horrid. One problem after another related to the mortgage side of the company. From actually losing my payments to forcing flood insurance on a home that is not in a flood zone (even according to FEMA maps). I'm am canceling all accounts. AVOID THIS BANK!!!

  Before the takeover there was friendly, fast service. Anything could be handled in location with minimal time. Now if you want to get anything done you may as well go through the app or online.

  I left my paycheck in their night deposit box. The bank has closed down all week for weather and still not open. When calling their 800 number they could not advise when they would be open again due to a broken pipe. No remedy is in place for customer transactions waiting at their business. Despite not being able to retrieve or even cash may pay check, the only advice or help this bank offered for feeding my children was to wait for an undetermined amount of time for that branch to reopen. It's been a week and this is completely unacceptable. This isnt the first time they have misplaced or lost my check, but it will be the last time it happens to me.

  A few days before Thanksgiving, my check card was cloned and used in a different city. I called it in to the 800 number and followed up at this branch the next day. The personal banker I spoke to was completely apathetic to my predicament. It's now the 16th of December and I have yet to receive my card. Furthermore, I found out today, she never filed my report, explaining why I still haven't had my money reimbursed. If I hadn't driven straight from this branch to a Wells Fargo, I'd still be without a check card today. So long, BBVA.

  Very bad experience at this bank. We trust our bank thinking that they are honest and it’s a big mistake. We were short $100 and the the Manager in charge said that they don’t have cameras where the tellers work. Wow what bank has no cameras. I recommend count your money and don’t trust this bank.

  I normally am not a review writer. Nor do I normally get this frustrated, however, I went in to this bank to have the spelling of the name on my debit card corrected. Once I received my new card, it was STILL under the incorrect name spelling. Not only did it take over half an hour (and that is NOT including wait time) to change a simple Abigal to Abigail, but it DID NOT EVEN GET DONE. Upon receiving my card, I was dismayed to find that it was still under the wrong spelling. Therefore, I had to waste more of my time going to the bank a SECOND time, during which I waited fifteen minutes to be addressed by any of the personnel along with spending an hour with a banker who did not know how to navigate her own support website. Not only did I do half of the work by observing her screen and pointing out things that she apparently did not see or know that they had the capability to do, but in the end my problem IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. If you live in Helotes, and would like something done in regards to a BBVA Compass account that you have, save your time and bring your business to one of their other locations. P.S. Rosie at the BBVA Compass near the Quarry is very competent, helpful, AND timely.

  Poor customer service from a female worker. She lied to me that the bank could not set my ATM pin code in the branch.
