Adam Havens1I really want to give each employees different ratings, but this 1 star is for pinegar as a whole experience! Bob in finance was very great to talk with and spend A lot of time with! I spent an accumulated time of 12 hours at pinegar looking at, and negotiating a 2009 Chevy Tahoe. Obviously a used, but in great shape and awesome mileage for the year. My problem is not the Tahoe! it is the amount of time I was at Pinegar, due to what seemed to be 90% of issues they were having! I understand that things happen, and that the uncontrollable things that do happen should not be held against any individual specifically! However as I look back at all the time spent at Pinegar (with 2 kids under 5) I just feel as if there was not a whole lot of care for a customer, and care for a customers buying experience shown. For the Last 3 hours of being at Pinegar, they seemed to assume that I had forgotten about the deal we had. Also assumed I was gonna go through with the purchase even though they didn’t meet the terms we had agreed to work toward in the first place! Overall, I honestly did not feel like I was made a priority and taken care of whatsoever. They did not try to makeup for any of the stress they caused and really didn’t show that they really wanted to do anything above and beyond either! I would not personally recommend Pinegar to anyone looking to buy. Edit; Terry Davis has been extremely argumentative and unprofessional! He is the reason used car salesmen have a reputation! Called me after I left this review just to harass me over this review. Also to whomever left the response on this review, call me. Let’s talk about it so you won’t be confused anymore! Update; 5 days of owning it, took it to a mechanic and he said the shock was worn out. Only had it checked because it started squeaking while driving. It’s sad that the service department just throws a bandaid on the used cars instead of being upfront and honest about things. Just to be clear, the shock did not squeak on the test drive or the day after. Just tell a buyer if something is gonna need replaced, instead of spraying some wd40 on it to quiet it down!

I am a bit confused that you first state you understand that issues out of our control happened, but then you are also upset by them. The internet being down was out of our control and we hate that it caused an inconvenience for you. We also try to stagger customers as much as possible. I do believe for the inconvenience of your time we gave you an additional $500 off the agreed price of the Tahoe. Again, we are pleased that you are happy with the Tahoe and try to exceed every customer’s expectation. We do hope that you will utilize our service department with the preferred customer pricing you receive with the purchase of your Tahoe.

Hank T. did an amazing job helping me to pick the vehicle that I was going to drive off the lot that day.
