  My family used Philadelphia Mortgage Brokers to do a VA Interest Rate Reduction Loan. Paul Dooley and PMB company were As good as we had hoped for. Very low hassle, they dug up a lot of the documents I assumed I would have to provide. Overall the process took Only about a month. It was a smooth process, and the Notary that came to our house to sign all the documents was Awesome. Overall we rated them 5 stars and would use them again.   My husband and I's mortgage experience with Paul Dooley of Philadelphia Mortgage Brokers was unlike that of any other. We had been with multiple realtors before hand and even initially closed on our house with one of them at some absurd rates. Paul not only bettered those rates, but changed our outlook on the home buying experience taking away most of the stressors involved with it.

  Philadelphia Mortgage Brokers is a top notch operation! I used Paul who was great and made sure everything was tidied up ten days before closing. Not an easy task for the self-employed. He was sure to show me all of the options and even helped me save money on the appraisal. Every little bit helps when taking on the purchase of a home. You know you are dealing with a first class "Mortgage Guy" while at settlement the selling agent asks for his card!

  Just like the other review I worked with Paul and Fernando, I explained what my husband and I were looking for and they agreed to work with us whether it was the property we were currently interested in or a different one if it did not work out. My credit was pulled and the first red flag was no interest rate/closing costs estimates were shared with me, they would not follow up as promised I would have to do so instead. A big waste of my time and credit inquiry.

  I was referred to Paul Carson. Never kept appointments. They will pull your credit and not return your phone calls! Very disappointing and totally unacceptable as a consumer business. Proceed with caution. I went with the good people over at Glendale Mortgage. Got an approval for more than what my family needs and a great IR. Wow. What a great experience! Hey Philadelphia Mortgage Brokers you can do a better job with your customer service and responsiveness. You lost one and your competitor gained 3. I just referred 2 of my business partners.

  The process was very smooth and professional. Only problem occurred when we tried to register for online services. It required my social security number and date of birth. No one else ever requested this information...for good reason. It is an open invitation to identity theft, which has already happened to us. A big aggravation to say the least.
