Mike Tesch1Terrible company to get your first time home buyer loan through hardly anybody speaks fluent English they're from overseas and in the United States. They're not willing to work with you at all. They denied my payments for 2 months even tho I had the money to pay what I owed. Find a different bank to go threw for real folks this company is the middle man and they do not help much besides make a headache for you.

Chow Thao1Worse bank ever. They hold check until the last day so they can charge late fees. Don't ever bank with these crooks.

Abby Whitcomb1Like every review on here this company is terrible! Our mortage was bought out by them and we have never had a mortgage company this bad before. Their customer service is terrible can hardly understand them when you do get someone on the phone. If you are even a day late with your payment they charge you a late fee and make it almost impossible to get the charger either removed or paid. We do online payments and they always take 4 to 5 days to process it and then charge you a late fee because they took to long to process your payment, and send you letters saying your home will be foreclosed on!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! My husband and I are now looking into refinancing just to try to get a different mortgage company.

G A1Nothing like receiving endless harassing phone calls, on weekends none the less, because your insurance department apparently isn't reading the memo that we are no longer at PHH MORTGAGE. Then the agent told me to have the new mortgage company call PHH to confirm this. First of all, I do not work for you and if there are issues in your system, you should take care of that yourself. A customer shouldn't be responsible to fix your error. Also the people working in the insurance department do not understand English, even the insurance company had issues being understood/understanding them. Very frustrating.

Name Witheld1Awful. We had an issue with an accidental late payment. They subsequently put us into some "Repayment program" that resulted in showing multiple "Late Payments" on our credit report (even though none of the following payments were late). I would have accepted the one late as we did make an error. However, their customer service and failure to correct their errors is unacceptable. Run from this company or re-finance with someone else ASAP!

Alichia Olson1Our mortgage was sold to PHH and this would be the third payment we are making to PHH - First two times, easy online payment BUT $7 processing fee? That is a joke! I have been attempting to make our payment for days and the online login of course doesn't recognize anything of mine yet I get emails from PHH and they are not answering their phones. How can you charge someone for making their mortgage payment online? You don't do anything to process it as it is all automated. Also, how can someone make a payment when all of a sudden the SAME login information that worked for two months no longer works, will not reset and you don't answer your phones? I am not mailing you a check as I clearly cannot trust you with it. This is our third month with PHH due to our mortgage selling and we will be refinancing elsewhere.

Duran Glazek1These dirtbags bought my mortgage, not my choice. I wish it would have been anyone but them. Excessive fees and charges. Been trying to pay my late fee but never given the option, now getting calls from debt collector. Umm maybe invest a tiny bit of money on your website that allows your customers to see everything and make optional payments a less hassle. For now I'll keep praying for another company.

Ken1Sh1t company, can't make payment on phone or through website. It keeps looping back to calling or visiting website. Nobody is picking up, can't get help. Horrible company, charged excess fees when my loan was transferred to this POS company from Ocwen, which was not much better. When my loan was transferred, Ocwen didn't tell me last date they will accept payment(s), I sent it to them, they sent my checks back a few months later and added fees to my account and escrow when loan went to PHH. Like many people stated, stay away from them, just look at their horrible reviews. BBB should investigate both of these companies.

Heather Oldenkamp1My loan was unfortunately sold to this awful company. Like every other review they are a borrow or company and I’ve only dealt with them for four months and already wishing another company would buy my mortgage. This is my first time dealing with a mortgage, but shouldn’t the customer get a say in who our loan is being transferred to?

Gay Canseco1100% Agree with the previous reviews. This is a TERRIBLE company. I sold my house in 2019 and have not been able to get any paperwork from them since. When I owned my home they constantly hounded me and made it difficult to pay my mortgage. Then they charged me huge late fees. Terrible place awful service. My mortgage was sold to them, I did not choose this company. Run don't walk away!
