  Before getting involved with Performance settlement, DO YOUR RESEARCH! call your debtors and find a meeting ground for settlement with them. Most creditors are more than willing to work with you. Performance settlement continuously ignores requests for documentation and their lack of communication is outrageous. You have to be delinquent on your accounts for 3 months before they can negotiate. It's not worth the 200 points your credit score drops. Read the BBB complaints against them. I finished the program this July and still after multiple attempts of asking for documentation stating completion of the program, I have been ignored. The receptionist is rude and not helpful. It's been an ongoing headache for me. Hope this will spare others the hassle of dealing with this company.

  The services provided by Performance Settlement were terrible. I graduated this program because I got a loan with an extremely high interest rate just to be done with them. When I signed up, I was given a monthly payment for 38 months and by the end, I would have all my debt paid off. Almost 2 years into it, I was informed there was no way I would complete in that time frame. I was lied to and screwed over by Performance Settlement, which a supervisor confirmed with me. I was told that the company was in disarray when I initially signed up and things are better now, but that coming from a company that told me one thing and then went back on their word.

  I was kind of skeptical at first because I never done this before. But thanks to their awesome team they not only helped me in settling my debt but they also eased my worries about dealing with creditors. They stood by me through the whole process. Now I'm proud to say I'm debt free and my credit score is looking marvelous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help with dealing with debt.

  In the past, I did consolidation with Americor Finance. The transparency with customers wasn't really there. A lot of bait and switch tactics. Now I work with Performance and I can easily say this has been the most positive/ exciting experience I've ever been part of. At the beginning, I was a bit skeptical due to past reviews but I wanted to experience the process for myself (Other peoples opinions don't pay your bills) and see what it's like. Overall my experience with this company so far has been Great quality regarding customer service, good value with the managements visions and a professional environment. I look forward to continued success with Performance.

  I use to work here. I advise everyone not to work with Performance. They are disorganized and engage in illegal activities. Not saying it’s a scam but thy will not “perform”. Half the company left due to the hostile work environment there. Please stay away from this place. Alleviate Financial Solutions is a much better company.

  Worst experience of my life. They are all nice while taking your monthly payments but if you try to cancel their service, then you are given the run around, i have had to leave messages because the person I have to speak with is not available. Then i am told they just settled with one of my creditors ao i may not get a refund back... I have seen no progress since i signed up with them but now that i want to cancel and am requesting a refund, they are now conveniently negotiating and i was told i may not get any of my money back from them. I highly doubt this as this particular creditor just called me looking for a payment arrangement. Also, the rep couldnt tell me the settlement amount or payment amount they now claim they sent my creditor. This is i suspect a way to not give me my money back.... I would not recommend this company to anyone!

  Know a lot of people have had less than stellar experiences with the company in the past, they started rebuilding the management team back at the start of the year and things look like they're really turning around! Super happy with the team we have right now and excited to come into work seeing the growth we're making every day.

  Performance settlement is the worse company I've ever dealt with. If you want to pay money and deal with a team interested in No regard for the customers right . Dealing with Fernando and Knock were like virtually talking to a Wall. Many mis guided advise and un answered requests lead to my largest debt being My Responsibility. RUN from this company. FYI. They were informed I was leaving a poor review and could care less!

  DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, IT'S FROM BUSINESSES LIKE THIS !!! Horrible experience in this company. At the first call we were well attended, even gave us a number to speak directly with the person who answered, if there was any question, the phone that every time I called was a different person. Later when we wanted to cancel they kept circling us, saying that we had to talk to another department, that's where we stayed for 2 weeks, and they did not cancel. Until today I am esoerando the refund of what we paid, a completely disorderly and without commitment company!

  This company is a complete SCAM! The employees are incredibly rude and all they care about is making money. They claim to work with the government and dept of education, they work for neither. During my first conversation I spoke to Jimmy Knight who was very convincing and manipulative, oddly he up and quit 2 days later! The website he gave me was studentloans.gov, which is confusing because this site is actually legitimate. Though a big difference in the two is, the actual office of dept of education which helps in loan forgiveness does not charge a fee for their services, Performance SLC does. They will first contact you with a text or phone call stating their number and saying, "Call us today you may be eligible for loan forgiveness." Though it sounds promising, its anything but-don't fall for the scam! I made the mistake of doing so and now they have all my personal info-address, social, account info, you name it! They claimed to need my bank info so they could take automatic once a month payments, needed to "consolidate" my loan debt. Which is really completely different than loan forgiveness! After calling my loan company and doing some research I found out they are only a scam looking for money and personal info. Now I'm in the process of trying to get in touch with them and receive my refund because even after appealing continuance of their service, they over drafted my account anyways! Now each time I try to call I get hung up on and I haven't yet received any email replies! I have to take the time to do all the steps necessary to avoid identity theft and fraud for the rest of my life! Do not work with this fraudulent company-Performance SLC/Performance Settlement. If you are already making payments to this company stop immediately! None of the payments you are making goes towards paying back your loans at a lower amount, it all goes to this company! I am extremely upset and I will not go down without a fight!
